Honestly, no matter what bugs this mod brings, I find it awesome that you are willing to work hand in hand with the people who download your mod. +1 for that. Huge amounts of respect for helping and not saying that all bugs will handled at a later date!

When you click more info with regards to the connection error, what does it say? I believe if it says UpNp or something like that is not connected then you forgot to turn off your firewall. You must always turn your firewall off. Every firewall on your computer before running IV for online play.

Also, in terms of going down the road, a desktop tends to be cheaper. Whenever things get outdated(which happens very often with all the next-gen shit that gets released now days) a laptop would require purchasing an all new laptop. Whereas, with a desktop, you can just upgrade. If your parents are tight on money, you could always get a job, do some tasks for relatives or neighbors and pitch in with the purchase. If you're tight on money, maybe do chores for your parents. Or depending on your age, get a job or find a short term resolution for cash! If you get a laptop, its a very very risky move for GTAIV. So best of luck man!

In game, enter the ELS enabled vehicle. Press alt+m and a menu pops up.You can then adjust the lights through that. I believe U is primary, I is secondary and O is warning... Not sure though as I have custom mapped my keys.

The one that was linked to you has a template. You could always find a heli and ask the original author if he would share his template with you.

So you want a working spotlight on a heli without using the mod?? Or a heli with a spotlight dummy on it? Because honestly just go to gta-4mods and look for a helicopter with a spotlight underneath(there are plenty of them as I just did it for my clan) and then install one of 2 mods that includes the spotlight and adjust the coordinates.

A large subscriber base is only half the battle though. I would much rather have fewer subscribers, but have them be good subs. for example, there are people with thousands of subs, and yet it seems like they only have a few hundred because they have low video views. And people who may only have a few hundred subs but get a lot of interaction from their subs. I think every youtubers goal is the sub count, but also to have a great group of people to interact with!!
