140,000 told Rockstar we wanted GTA V for the PC and it's coming!!!
because it wasn't a big seller like GTA IV, that's why! Online petition calling for PC version of upcoming open-world action game reaches new signature milestone. The Change.org petition calling on Rockstar Games to release a PC version of Grand Theft Auto V has surpassed 200,000 signatures. At press time, 207,971 have signed the online document. This figure is up from 150,000 in February and 100,000 at the end of November. According to Rockstar Games cofounder Dan Houser, a PC version of the open-world game is "up for consideration," though that's all the company has said on the matter. The petition says it is a "big shame" that GTAV is not announced for the PC, specifically calling out the modding community being a "huge part" of PC gaming. "Modded GTA is some of the most insanely fun times you can have," a line from the petition reads. A since-removed Rockstar Leeds job advertisement sought a programmer to help bring the company's "latest titles" to PC. This would potentially include GTAV. The PC iteration of Grand Theft Auto IV launched about eight months after the console versions shipped in April 2008.

Sometime people just won't believe in anything until it hits them in the face!!!! For someone that's on the community team, You guys are being negative about the whole thing and I guess your ones who didn't sign the petition! Thanks for the negative waves from the community team members!! I guess the members will just have to keep the faith!!!

Do the math 140,000 x $60 = $8,400,000 and that's just the people that spoke up about it! So ya it's coming it's just a mater of time! Rockstar Job Listing May Hint at Grand Theft Auto 5 PC Port Rockstar Leeds seeking programmer “to help bring our latest titles to the PC platform.” by Andrew Goldfarb July 9, 2013 A job listing from Rockstar suggests that the studio could be prepping a PC version of Grand Theft Auto V after all. A listing from Rockstar Leeds (since removed but captured by Rockstar Watch) was seeking “a talented graphics programmer to help bring our latest titles to the PC platform.” “Working together with the other Rockstar studios, you will be responsible for maintaining the studio’s uncompromising quality bar, delivering the highest quality PC experience possible,” the listing continued. It also referred to “working with skilled developers on Next Generation games.” For now, Grand Theft Auto V is only planned for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Previously, thousands of fans signed a petition for a PC version and listings appeared on various retailers, but nothing has been officially confirmed. It’s worth noting that Grand Theft Auto IV hit consoles in April 2008 while a PC version didn’t arrive until more than seven months later. We’ve reached out to Rockstar about the listing and will update this story with any comment we receive. Until then, be sure to read about what’s new in today’s gameplay trailer.
