Started playing with this skin a while ago to give a very American feel/vibe while still being believably an actual usable police paint job. There are some stealth skins I plan to add in the near future but if I'm honest, I wanted to get this out in time for the 4th of July as I think it is very fitting. I want to give a thanks to BradM who put together the very fitting crest for this pack. I think this is all you really need to know so, please enjoy! This is as always the simple install of finding the .ytd folder of the vehicle you want to use, then importing all the skins for the corresponding vehicle then save. Notice any issues or have suggestions please share in the comments section. Let me know if I missed anything.

KNOWN ISSUE: The tape sometimes droops through the ground, especially when there is not much wind or with longer pieces of tape. User more barriers and shorter pieces of tape to help reduce this effect. This is due to the limitations of what cloth physics can do in zmodeler/GTA V. Version 2.0 adds static tape models which do not sag as an option. You can choose for each strand whether to use static or dynamic tape.
 
KNOWN ISSUE: If you are having issues with changing the keybindings in the INI not taking effect in the game, add a single blank line at the top of your INI file. 
 
KNOWN ISSUE: You may need to install a modified gameconfig.xml, depending on your version of GTA V. If you already have a modified gameconfig.xml to support add-on vehicles, you should be OK. If you haven't before and your game crashes on startup after installing Police Tape, you need to install a custom gameconfig. You can use the following LML package to install a compatible Gameconfig file:

This 2010 Chevy Silverado is a Department of Transportation Vehicle, myself and my friend @Nolan8024 have been working away to create something simple for the Department of Transportation. Nolan8024 helped at lot throughout this project and if it wasn't for him I don't think this file could of been released in the time it took to make it. This release is apart of many releases coming from OCRP.
This is our Marion County inspired textures seen on our servers.
This is being provided "as-is" meaning I will not update it.
 
This is a texture "kit" what this means is you must assemble them on your own vehicles. No I will not do it for you. No I will not tell you how to do it. There are many videos out there on how to make skins for GTA V. Simply this is all the resources you will need to get these skins on your own vehicles.

NYPD FedSig SS2000 Rumbler + AIRHORN  for GTA 5!!!
 
The Rumbler is a pulsating, low-frequency tone that operates at 180 to 360 hertz, and sounds in tandem with a standard, piercing high-frequency tone. At the lower frequency, the sound penetrates hard surfaces like glass and doors more effectively than high-frequency tones, and helps generate attention in high-noise environments like "dense, urban traffic". In addition, the siren's low thumping sound often causes bodily vibrations in persons who are near to it. The Rumbler is about 10 decibels quieter than a standard emergency vehicle siren and is generally activated in eight-second bursts by depressing the horn in a Rumbler-equipped vehicle.

I try to fix those but sometimes it still happens. Go into vehicles.metafind the line that says diffusetint for the model and find the diffusetint value and replace the value with this<diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" />

This is what I have been working on most recently. I have been without a computer due to my motherboard failing so I have been constrained to my laptop making it difficult to push new stuff out. Anyways I hope you enjoy the model as it is the first in a while that I have posted. I accidentally mixed this skin up with the other El Paso County based skin and well I don;t tease things so I made this a pack on its own as well. Remember everyone, I base my skin packs off of base model templates NOT for any one specific vehicle pack. Because the templates don't really change, skins can be applied to basically any pack of your choice so long as the base models used are the same as the ones I have used. I do try to use the most common base models so they should cover the bulk of the vehicle packs available.

Hi ladies. So here is this a pretty large pack but not really. White Plains is a town/small city in Upstate New York, Westchester County that I decided to make because, well it's NEW YORK. This pack features all accurate lighting, meaning forward red and white, and the accurate lightbar thanks to OfficerFive0. The pack features 5 cars, all with varying setups that White Plains uses. A: I tried including the most in depth installation instructions I could find, but I know when I was new to LSPDFR didnt know anything about installing stuff, so if you have any questions you are feel free to comment with it. There are also instructions though which again, I tried making as in depth as possible to help you out.

A: So there is a way to remove the tint from automatically spawning on most vehicles, which ive done for almost every model but sometimes it doesnt work like for example in the pranger or FBI slots, so you will need to use the vehicles.meta to turn that off, it also includes better handling.
