Well I finally figured it out, turns out it was to do with the way I was using OpenIV.

Instead of dragging the modded gameconfig.xml from folder into OpenIV while in Edit mode, you have to right click on an empty space, click Add, then navigate to the gameconfig.xml you want and add it that way - that ensures it replaces the file! I was using the same gameconfig from before the updates all along!!! But now all my add-on cars work again 🙂

Interesting, as the update was supposed to add re-encountering suspects that you may have tried to catch before, but then escaped. This doesn't seem to be case given this thread. Seems best to keep this disabled until they maybe flesh this out in a future update.

Thanks a lot for the solution!

It works, patroling about 20 Minutes with no Van and no super sports car!

I updated my LSPDFR to its latest version, 0.4.7. I noticed two new worlds event were added for vanilla LSPDFR. While I am patrolling, my radar will flash white and a small red blip will appear. The blip is either a bank truck or a sports car driving recklessly. This very thing occurs every few minutes or so and it often interferes with my current objective. Once either of these vehicles pass the front of my patrol car, the game engages me in an unofficial pursuit, whether or not I chose to be involved. Once the blip clears, the game puts me in a searching mode at which the cone of vision appears on my radar even if I do not want to be involved in the situation. While this cone is present, I am unable to start a traffic stop. These events will also occur when I am outside my vehicle in the middle of an investigation. If I have any backup on scene with me, they will immediately engage the vehicle and leave me by myself which quickly becomes irritating.

I have tried several different things. I've gone into LSPDFR's configuration settings and put a zero or false in the value's place. This has not disable those two events and I do not see many other configurations inside the file. I looked a little online and did not find much help. I found a new configuration to enter (Ambient.MaximumScenarios = 0) and it did not stop these events from occurring. Is there any possible way I can disable these unrealistic events so I can patrol the streets without interference?

Sorry, I guess I'm just used to playing games at 60+ or above. I don't play that many triple-A titles anyway. It's not so bad being a deputy sheriff by day or a police officer by night but I get about 30 FPS vice versa. I was just making sure it was an issue with LSPDFR's optimisation and not any of our systems. Easy to think that it should run as well as vanilla GTA V does on high-end systems and even less for that matter.

Although there are some people who seem to get 60 fps with a similar amount of plugins - this guy has the same GPU and RAM as me for example, although he does have a 7700k compared to my 6600k.
