That makes sense, the spelling got me - I thought the script wasn't functioning properly, hence "breaking", but if it's meant to be "braking", then yep, that's pretty much what it's doing, though... in a weird way. It's like the game is fighting me, and the car gets all the punishment being caught in a crossfire of my input and the script's commands. Anyway, thanks for this clarification!
It's a great mod, reminds me of Mafia 1, but here's a question: what does "cruise control is breaking" mean? If I let my car drive in this state, it starts behaving unpredictably, and the only way to avoid it is to keep spamming "w", keeping the car within the speed limit manually. Which goes against the idea of this mod. Am I doing something wrong here?
This is, no doubt, the easiest, fastest and safest way to install / replace peds, vehicles and weapons, period. For all these years I hadn't dared to temper with this stuff not only because Rockstar made their file structure extremely convoluted this time around (and keep changing everything up each and every damn update), but also because every update breaks everything and forces you to go through the exact same excruciating process again and again. Well, not anymore.
Today, I installed my first vehicle mod in about 2 minutes. No more pain. No more suffering. No more confusion. No more "what the hell just happened???" moments.
Drag, drop, copy, edit, paste, save, launch, play. It's THAT easy. Just follow the instructions and enjoy.
HUGE thanks to the author.
You rock, and your mod rocks.
Hard.
