If i'm not mistaken, ELS has been made to use Scripthook and only Scripthook and any other hook could work but would most likely result in ELS failing entirely. (Crashing you to desktop every launch) ELS also receives no updates for other hooks to work with it. The Update for scripthook is worth the wait and coding just takes time. For certain things, you will just have to wait. To answer your question, No. ELS will not work without Scripthook. ASI manager is for reading the file. Scripthook Executes the code. Scripthook is not compatible with the current game version resulting in ELS and other mods that depend on Scripthook, useless.

No. However, Non-ELS vehicles can arrive with lights and no sirens on which is configurable in the ultimate backup ini file. But if you have ELS cars installed, then they will always arrive code 3 with sirens if code 3 is set. you can change els vehicles to show up with no lights and no sirens as well. But no code 3 just lights option since the coding for that hasn't been configured yet. Although, I believe rich's police enhancements has the option for all backup to show up code 2 with no sirens and lights until they reach your proximity. If you have your lights on, when they reach a certain distance from you, theirs activate too. But with sirens as well if the backup vehicle is ELS. Maybe you can give that a try? Or use Non-Els vehicles in vanilla slots and run addons for you to get what you are asking for.

Hello, updated scripthookv for current game patch. Game loads fine. I get this crash every once in a while. Even before the patch. Log posted to see if someone can help me track down the reason of the crash. TIA! April 5th crash.txt

So I downgraded to the latest update that still supports mods. I installed els and one els vehicle. ELS is stuck on. can't get it to work. I have all the dependencies to run lcpdfr and els. FYI I also run LSPDFR with NO problems. Once I put lcpdfr into game directory it crashes on load screen. Once I remove lcpdfr it runs fine but still cant get els to run either or... HELP?

Hello all, I replaced firetruck siren files and came upon an issue i never had before when replacing such files... all my replaced ELS vehicles suddenly have lights stuck on. Re-installed backup fire truck sirens and that didn't work, Re-installed ELS, that didnt work, Re-installed all XML files for the cars I have, that also didn't work. Suggestions?

We got it solved. was missing display files for mods in police smart radio config files. Thank you guys for your help.

I had to re-install it and now instead of the 8-10 buttons I once had, are not showing up when Console says they have been successfully loaded. It crashes game sometimes on force duty command as well. I've tried re-installing, deleting and modifying both on foot, and in vehicle XML files and still nothing. HELP!!!!

I have a couple suggestions that can help.. 1. Set in LSPDFR Pre-load all models to False 2.Turn down Graphics in game to increase FPS 3.Take out mods one by one until Framerate and textures come back. (This happens when the allotted memory space for GTA 5 is met by plugins and scripts) My game currently runs around 30 FPS.
