PALETO BAY POLICE DEPARTMENT PACK 1.0

INTRODUCTION:
About a half-year ago, I began delving into the depths of GTA V vehicle development. While the process was difficult at first, the help of dozens of talented developers in the field allowed me to grow quickly. When I began this trek, my intent was to create a single, massive Massachusetts Megapack, featuring over 40 vehicles. While that pack is still in progress, I decided it would be wise for me to release a pack before going any further, introducing myself to the community and demonstrating my work.
 
My commitment remains simple: Provide the community with the highest quality vehicles I possibly can, rendered to near 100% accuracy to their real life counterparts. This pack's release has gone through months of laborious testing, and the construction would not have been possible without those listed in the credits of this release. 
 
Please read the credits for a full outline of not only the parts I used, but the people that helped me get here. 
 
OVERVIEW:
 
Lenox is a town in Berkshire County, Massachusetts, United States. Set in Western Massachusetts, it is part of the Pittsfield Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 5,025 at the 2010 census. Lenox is the site of Tanglewood, summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. The Lenox Police Department is a relatively small Police Agency responsible for overall law enforcement duties in the township of Lenox. Since the Berkshire County Sheriff does not have a patrol division (no sheriff departments in Massachusetts have a patrol division), they interface directly with the Massachusetts State Police for all law enforcement matters in and around their jurisdiction.
 
ELS & Non-ELS Hybrid
It is true that this pack utilizes ELS and Non-ELS to create magnificent and beautiful lighting effects in the environment, as well as to enable more variety with the flash patterns. By default, the Non-ELS lights are set to activate on Light-Stage 2, but this can be modified in the VCFs if you wish. Modifying the metas or names of these vehicles can cause the non-ELS lights to malfunction, leaving most of the lights either dysfunctional or totally inoperable.

KNOWN ISSUES:
- The 2014 Charger's Takedowns face the reverse direction. Still now, I am unaware of a fix for this issue, but will continue to look for one.

FAQs:
 
Q: How do I activate the takedowns and the spotlights?
A: Spotlights are tied to the highbeams, takedowns are tied to ELS.
 
Q: Can these be used as REPLACEMENTS instead of ADDONS?
A: Yes, but please read the readme carefully for instructions.
 
Q: Can you modify this pack to include red and blue lighting?
A: Under no circumstances will I be including a red/blue option for this pack.
 
Q: What permissions do I have for this pack?
A: You can use it for single-player until your heart is content, but under no circumstances can you use this pack for FiveM.
 
Q: May I have access to the templates to change the liveries?
A: No. I will not be providing templates with this download. I know this may be a controversial decision, but I believe strongly that these vehicles were made to represent the department they are build after. Modifying the textures would not only do away with the work of DJCave, but also take away from the accuracy of this pack. If you desperately need to change my vehicle's textures, most of the templates are available on this site elsewhere.

I decided to build a special 100th episode/1000 subscriber special vehicle for my YouTube audience and as I promised I said I would release it to the public to use. So I give to you a 2017 Ford Focus RS using a Lore Friendly Livery of the Murrieta Police Department to go hand in hand with my very old and outdated pack(s) I created in the past.
 
I had been wanting to release this for a while but I figured with those milestones coming up it would be the best time to do it then. I hope you guys enjoy.

Installing SRU Addon pack
WARNING: If you are unfamiliar with installing addons, I recommend following these steps to ensure there are no game crashes!
Also due to how the vehicles are setup, it is NOT RECOMMENDED to use Albo DLC or any other third party addon modding tools (unless
you ABSOLUTELY know how these cars are setup!). 
1. Drag and drop the SRU folder (the folder itself) into mods\update\x64\dlcpacks
2. Add the following entry in dlclist.xml located in mods\update\update.rpf\common\data. 
   Mandatory to read the contents in the SRU folder.
   
   <Item>dlcpacks:/sru/</Item>
3. Install the VCF ELS files under Grand Theft Auto V\ELS\pack_default
You must spawn these vehicles via a vehicle trainer (Simple Native Trainer preferred). The spawn names are c7sru, cobrasru, and skylinesru.
 
Installing AS350 Helicopter (TEXTURE ONLY!):
Since no model edits were made on the original AS350, only the texture file was uploaded.
1. Download the original model from SkylineGTRFreak here: https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/as-350-ecureuil
2. Use the included ytd file to use the sheriff livery (rename to polmav.ytd for repalacement or as350.ytd for addon)

Yeah, yeah. Here is ANOTHER 2011 CVPI, why did I make this you ask?
While the other ones I could find while beautiful and well done, They had a few issues to me, mainly to many textuers/only L0-L2/ too high poly (100K+). 
I made one to suit my need of a CVPI that sub 100K polys, up to the L3 and under 30 texuters, so I went and made one. (it also has a spotlight as standed)

Console and laptop pack I made a while back. People keep asking for it, etc. So I've decided to release it here. There was a lot of small tedious work put into these, everything is interchangeable if you wish, There are different versions of each console, all at different lengths, with and without armrests, etc
 
Each laptop stand has a floor mount option, and a console mount option
 
When scaling it is probably best to scale both the console and laptop stand at the same time, that being because the laptop stand was modeled to be about the right size a normal one would with the console mount option. But you will do as you wish, so enjoy

I WILL NOT BE UPDATING THESE CONFIGS FOR EUP 8.0
@Alex_Ashfold is releasing his own, official settings for the new EUP update, which you can download below. While his configuration is not complete (for example, Blaine County is not a configured agency), he says that updates will come and there is a much greater effort and attention to detail to his configurations than what my automatically generated files can provide.
If you can't wait, you can copy only the outfits files from the official release and edit the station, backup, and agency files appropriately. The hardest part has still be done for you.
 
 
ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION
I have taken all of the preset outfits from EUP Menu and converted them to configs for LSPDFR 0.4, including updating the agencies so that NPCs will spawn with EUP outfits.
 
Installation
Extract into your GTA V/lspdfr/data/custom folder. Make sure both EUP mods are installed (install LEO first, then SAR):
You may need to back up the stations.xml file in lspdfr/data and rename and move stations_eup.xml from the custom folder to fully replace it. It doesn't look like the current version of LSPDFR supports overwriting stations.
 
Frequent Issues
Peds are spawnings with the wrong outfits (weird hats, parachutes, etc.):
My game is crashing when using these configs (access violation exception):
I want to edit in different uniforms, vehicles, stations, etc.
 
Converting configs
If you would like to generate your own outfits file based on an existing EUP Menu outfits file, you can find my script on Github.
Place the python script where your EUP Menu outfit .ini file is. You may need to edit the `read()` function on line 27 to match your file's name.
 
I have also made a script for converting from LSPDFR configs to UltimateBackup configs.

We've sprinkled in a couple sheriff textures in other packs before, but now for a full texture pack to themselves. This is a little bit different than what we normally do. For this pack, I made them Blaine County instead of leaving it as Ohio. There were several reasons for that but it doesn't really matter lol.

[DEV] 2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor

this is by no means perfect or anything just something i converted cuz i was bored
 
i know this year model isnt used as a cop car too much or even raptors in general but this thing was asking to be converted
 
vehicle is optimised for fbi2 slot (sheriff2 slot might work havent tested it though)
 
dials should work with VDT_CALVACADE just vanilla fbi2 vehicles meta will work 
 
you will have to add FLAG_HAS_LIVERY in the meta for multiple liveries to work 
 
i forgot to fix the window tint so need that as well in the meta  <diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" />
