  1. Hello, i recently downloaded and installed the Indicator script. How do you actually use this ? I looked at the controls, to indicate right, it's set to "Right", i assume that means "right arrow", i tried that and it doesn't seem to work. I also tried "U" which i suppose to activate the hazards, this doesn't work either. Do i have to press another button before or while pressing the left or right arrow ? Thank you in advance.
  2. It's okay, i managed to get it working by installing the games for windows live patch update. I'm now happily cruising around town in my DPG car making arrests! Thank you all so much
  3. Any ideas for my question ? The "starting new game" screen appears and doesn't seem to be loading. It's done this before but i don't remember what update i applied to the game for it to work. I think it might be the Games for windows live update. Anyone else have any ideas ?
  4. Uh-oh..... It's one problem after another..... I always get this everytime i clean re-install GTA IV. I get the dreaded "loading loop" screen in which the characters are repeated over and over while the game loads. I managed to fix this before but i can't remember what update i applied.... ----------------------------------- Random question, for Tom H, how did you make that profile picture, i'm sure i've seen a lot of players using them ? I'd like to create one myself. Thank you all!
  5. Thank you all for the wonderful support ! Without you guys, i'd be lost !
  6. Thank you for your assistance, i managed to locate the gamesaves here: C:UsersBillyDocumentsRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames
  7. Hi I was unaware of this, thank you for your reply. :) That directory does not exist in my game files, there is no savegame folder. Under C:UsersBillyAppDataLocalRockstar GamesGTA IV i see "user settings" and "user music" neither of which contain any save game data.
  8. So i was playing LCPDFR just fine yesterday night, now, today when i try to load the game it gets to the point where it says "Loading - it's your call" then the silver glow seems to freeze, and the game stops working. I haven't installed anything else since yesterday, the only thing i have done is end a few processes in the task manager to reduce the load on the CPU and make the game run faster. I'm using a Dell M5030 with an AMD Athlon X2 P320 Dual core CPU @ 2.1GHZ and 3 GB's DDR3 RAM. My video card is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 with 256MB Dedicated Video RAM. The game just runs on my system with low settings, i get about 12-13 frames per second but sometimes it drops to 1 or 2 FPS. It's a 64 - bit laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium. Thank you for any suggestions. ----EDIT----- I forgot to mention, i saved the game while i was on duty, could this be the reason the game crashes? And i assume i will have to make a clean re-install of the game ?
