Since GTA IV uses RAGE engine, which only very few games, if not only GTA IV uses, that's probably not it. With that said, since poster said he rarely updates his drivers, and the ones he used was probably pretty outdated, so I think that's the reason OP got such an improvement. I see no improvement with my GTX580.

Let's say a 16 year old kid killed a man, because he owed him money, or some crap people get killed for nowadays, and he was aware of what he was doing, would you still say it's too harsh? If the person in question is mentally retarded, or something alike, I'd agree that they should be put in a institution instead, but manslaugters that were aware of what they were doing, and knew the consquences, I wouldn't hesitate to put the person in jail.

It's currently not possible to rebind keys, I'm pretty sure they're working on it though. Correct me if I'm wrong, but rebinding keys wasn't in RC2, was it?

Using Google Translate won't help much, it's not much better than speaking English with him. Anyway, do you use any map mods? If so, just delete them.

It'll most likely be the RAGE engine, but take a look at Max Payne 3, it looks entirely different, so it will be like coding for a new engine, most likely. I'm not sure of what magic happens with G17s own scripting engine (like improving AI and such), but for most of it, LCPD:FR is just coded upon a API (aka scripthook), so it'll be pretty easy to reuse old code.

That's some very expensive RAM.. I bought 16 GB of DDR3 @ 1600 MHz, today, for 704 kr, actually. And the CPU is going to be a bottleneck aswell.
