So my game was fine until recently it just decided it was going to take its eternal life on loading screen for story mode. Here is what i have done already. 1. Reinstalled Graphics Drivers. (recently updated as well) 2. Updated Windows 10 as I am Forced into it. 3.Verified the integrity of the files via steam. 4. Deleted the whole game and Reinstalled. (I expected this to not work) 5. Attempted to load with gameconfigs of all sorts (none worked). 6. Removed all mods before intalling again and once installed it still maintained the infinite screen. Problem has been going on for some time now and i have found no way to fix it. I ran into a problem with Rage Plugin Hook a while back but doubt that it is a contributor to my present problem. I forgot to mention that once reinstalled without mods the game will load if loaded through online first and then gone to story mode.

Well ill be damned. It worked! Thanks a lot you saved me out of going back to looking for an error within the games files. Thanks again!

Alright so i re-installed my graphics drivers and it didnt fix the launching part but if i force rage hook once the game is loaded it will quote "Slow system or Insufficient permissions " but once i go back in game everything is loaded once again. (like i loaded it fine) I can make a video of the event if u want. (or if i get an answer tbh)

None worked. The error happens either way

1. Tried the first things. ("Enable custom backgrounds for loading screen"and "Disable DirectX Hook") Did not work 2. I do not have anything ticked even though i did have "Ignore Different Video Card" I dont think it has anything to do with the settings.

Game still loads up like it just ignored rage hook. Rage hook starts it up but it just loads up without the rage hook's logo and as soon as the vanilla menu comes up the error message comes up. it is done just how the ReadMe says to. I Upgraded nvidia driver today and it did not work so its not my system.

Link to visual explanation of the problem: I got a little bit of a problem. I have recently upgraded my ram and gpu. RAM: 16gb to 32gb Gpu: 980 to 1080 I installed new drivers for the GPU and optimized the frequency on the RAM from 2400mhz to 3200mhz. (THOUGH I DO NOT THINK THIS IS A CAUSE TO THE PROBLEM) PROBLEM: When i start up Rage Hook it starts up in one of two ways. 1. It loads up GTA V as normal ,without rage hook, to this i attempt to load rage hook with the game open which only leads to it crashing without a crash report and saying "Insufficient permissions or bad anti-virus" or "Slow system or bad anti-virus". 2. I will run rage hook and then it wont even load the game itll just go straight to the previously mentioned quotes below. That being said I worked on my antivirus as well as firewall and gave rage hook all the permissions.(meaning I basically made it a High Priority non-revised program when loading up) I also restart my computer like rage hook says to do and still wont load. Game on its own launched from the normal launcher loads up perfectly with scripthookV and the mods folder. I also checked the integrity of the game's files through steam. Turned off Nvidia share and CAM https://camwebapp.com/ which basically shows the stats on my hardware. I do not know why this started and would post a report but unfortunately it does not load one after the crash. i have tried different option within the rage hook settings. The problem has been going on for 2 days now if seen on 5/20/2018. went into task manager and killed a lot of programs that could be messing with rage hook as it said "slow system" so i believed it was a ram problem. Any new suggestions will help.
