  1. Okay so those XMLs in the update info needed to be dropped in the plugins folder. I believe I fixed it lol
  2. Hey everyone. I’m having an issue where I can’t place suspects in the back of my car and I also cannot call for transport either. It worked exactly one time, first arrest of the day yesterday anytime after that hasn’t worked so I essentially can’t arrest anyone. Spent most of the day yesterday trying to figure out what would be breaking it and I can’t for the life of me figure it out. I did find a folder in my GTA main folder called albo1125 common and inside that has 4 XML files for Arrest Manager, LSPDFR+, Smart Radio, and Traffic Policer. I don't know where it came from since i've checked my backups from those 4 downloads and that file doesn't appear anywhere in the original downloads. I'm not sure if that's whats causing the issue. any help would be appreciated
  3. I highly recommend doing everything from scratch when 0.4 comes out anyway.
  4. I will definitely be checking that out, thanks for the video!
  5. thank you for moving this to the correct forum. I still don't know what im doing
  6. Hey everyone! I need some advice. I've been playing around with paint.net making skins for captain14's car packs. I need some advice on making the license plate a little more realistic. My plates always look like they were just painted on. If this is the wrong forum for this sort of question, I apologize.
  7. It'll sometimes get hung up, happened to me. Check to make sure you actually have th c++ files downloaded. One way to make sure is to download albo's troubleshooter. It doesn't need to be in your root GTA V directory. What I do with this file is just create a new folder on my desktop and extract the files to it. Once the files are extracted just select "Albo1125's troubleshooter" if it tells you you're missing the 2010 or 2015 c++ redistributsble package you'll want to try to install just the redistributable package through Microsoft's website. Restart your PC after installing the packages. Then rerun the troubleshooter. If it still says you're missing one of those packages you're going to have to install one of the free versions of Microsoft's visual studios. (Currently, that's the only way I've found to get around it) Restart pc again and rerun the troubleshooter. At this point it shouldn't say anything about the redistributable packages anymore. Close the troubleshooter then do what myself and TheForecaster said and edit your command line for -scOfflineOnly. At that point run your actual GTAV.exe file, load a saved game, go to settings, then go to the startup and launch menu (at the very bottom of settings list) I can't remember what it's called but select the first option to off so you can select the second option on that list, which is load single player only. Save the game and exit, from there you can try starting rage and see if it's fixed. If it still doesn't launch make sure you actually select in your AV to exclude GTA V and the LSPDFR installer (even if your anti virus software is off, it can still block the files from correctly installing.) At that point, try to reinstall LSPDFR. Once you go through the setup, install the most recent Rage Plugin Hook. Launch rage and it should be working at that point. Of course, that's just going off of what you posted on my thread earlier how you think we have the same problems. Everything listed above is exactly what I did to fix my problem so if our problems are similar, this should get your game working again. I apologize for the wall wall of text, just hoping our problems really were the same and we can get it working for you.
  8. Do you have windows defender active? That could be your issue too. Check that out before giving up.
  9. The command line in your root GTA V directory. It's in alphabetical order so you should be able to find it fairly easily. It should be the only command line in your directory
  10. I also went into the command line and added -scOfflineOnly then went into the game and selected load into single player. Im only adding this in case someone else encounters this problem and google's the problem
  11. I FIGURED IT OUT hahah turns out I also had to put the lspdfr installer under my AVs exception list. Which is weird because I've never had this problem before but oh well. Thanks again for your help!
  12. Thank you and thanks again for trying, i know how difficult it is to troubleshoot a problem without knowing what's going on, definitely appreciated.
  13. I usually just delete them and reinstall when the mood strikes to play again. All i know is, once I get this working, I won't uninstall it again haha the next thing on my list is another ssd and maybe a hard drive but I'll do a fresh install of LSPDFR and Rage again to be safe.
  14. Yes, I had it working up until a few weeks ago. then i had to uninstall GTA to try another game (i have a tiny ssd so have to uninstall and reinstall games frequently) but this is the first time i have had a problem doing it.
  15. Yeah I think it's a little over a year out of date. I think I'm just SOL for the time being. Thanks so much for all your help
  16. I've actually tried using the one that was with lspdfr before downloading .50 or whichever is the most recent one just to make sure lol I'm going to remove that file and see what happens edit: I removed it and it just came back after trying to launch rage again so it's coming from rage whenever I start it
  17. I think I got that from either the base mod or allbo's troubleshooter. I'm honestly not sure, but since the only things I've downloaded were rage, lspdfr and allbos troubleshooter. Do I need that file? Edit: I see why you asked since it's today's date. I had rage and lspdfr in a separate folder before I copied them to my directory. Could that be a problem?
  18. I just got done trying that, sadly nothing has changed. I wanted to try hitting the debug button and see if that'll help but since it's warns against doing that I don't think I will
  19. Alrighty I'm back in front of my computer and added GTA to my Anti Virus and Malearebytes exclusion list and unfortunately it still crashes. I went ahead and removed the SDK files though.
  20. Okay I'll try that when I get back to my computer. As for the screenshots of my GTA directory, that is in the original post in the imgur gallery
  21. It crashes either way I try. If I launch GTA V normally it works but once I try loading rage it'll immediately crash
  22. Hello everyone, this might be a rage plugin hook issue but no one seems to comment on any technical issues on their forum. Every time i try to load LSPDFR from rage it crashes on startup. I had the mod before and worked fine but after a clean download it doesn't want to work for me. I am only running the lspdfr plugin without anything else downloaded to it. I checked my rage plugin text file and it doesn't show much for me. I am posting the Screenshots of my game's files and the RPH logs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Have a great weekend everyone
