I have the exact same issue. According to RageHook logs it is due to the line item "PoliceStationInterior". Hopefully there is a fix because that is the only thing keeping my game from being 100% stable.

 

I tried deleting the Mission Row Station from the LSPDFR's Stations.xml to adding PoliceStation.DisableAmbientSpawn = true to the config but to no avail.

I seem to be having a bit of a problem every time I go to the Mission Row Police Station.

 

It seems that going to the Mission Row Police Station more than once will cause LSPDFR to crash. I've tested this multiple times and I can always replicate the crash.

 

I can go to the station once, go on duty, select a vehicle without crashing, but once I leave the area and come back to the station, LSPDFR would crash. I can reload LSPDFR while at the station but it would just crash again. Going somewhere else and LSPDFR runs fine again but coming back to the station will result in another crash. Looking at the RagePluginHook log, the crash is always due to - Origin: Game fiber "PoliceStationInterior".

 

I don't believe that any of my other mods is the culprit as I've tested this on a clean copy of GTA V and it crashes as well with the same code.

I have been getting the same issue as many other people, in which the game would terminate itself right when the Rockstar logos show up. It seems that after updating DirectX to the latest version and in accordance to my operating system, the game loads up fine now along with Ragehook and its F4 console.

So what I did was find the latest DirectX for my OS and since I am using Windows 7 SP1, the update I used was 'DirectX 11.1' and its titled Platform Update for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 (KB2670838) on the Microsoft Support website. You can download the latest DirectX at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/179113 Hopefully, this will fix many people's issues and ease their fustrations.

Does anyone else have a problem with the LSPD Stanier not having the license plate lights on at night? I just noticed that this is the only car in my game that does not have functional license plate lights at night. All other Staniers work fine so I am confused as to what happened to this car. I have not modded any in game content so I have no idea what has gone wrong.

I think GTA is lying to you about not having enough memory...

Anyway, it's weird that it's doing that. Cars have different LODs, or Levels of Detail. What it looks like is happening is that the game is switching the car to a far away LOD even though the car is close to you. Could be a problem with the model.

It is indeed the model. I used to use it.

Are you using the Print Screen function? If that's the case then all you have to do is disable the Aero Glass effect. I know it works for Windows 7 but you can try with your Windows 8.

Does anyone know of a mod or a way to change the orientation of Happiness Island? It would be awesome to rotate the whole island 180° so that the Statue of Happiness can face the sea just like the real Liberty Island. If the whole island is too difficult, is there a way to rotate just the Statue itself?

VAGCOM should be able to remove that on even the latest MY..

Lol it is not an issued car. My dad works for the FBI and he always used the motor-pool Crown Vic. I guess he liked it a lot since he bought this one as a personal car. The only things he has in this car is a laptop and a 12V powered dash light (which he removes if I ever drive it). So yeah, I do drive it sometimes.

I drive my dad's 2006 Crown Vic sometimes.

I've had that happen plenty of times, also. I don't use it much anyways since cops tend to want to shoot the person instead of arresting them.

Lol yeah.I find that targetting a ped who's not currently wanted(chased by you) or aggressive the ai police arrests them just fine.

If LCPDFR stops working in-game just hit ` and then type reloadscripts

 

Everytime this function crashes on me I just type 'reloadscripts' followed by ALT-P and CTRL-P but I would still like to know why this causes the crash in the first place. I remember this function in 0.91 worked great for me. No idea what happened though.

 

Hi. I am currently using LCPDFR 0.95 RC2 and I love it! Everything works great on EFLC except the function to set a ped as a target does not always work. 90% of the time this using this function causes LCPDFR to crash. The error that appears on the top left screen is something like "Error in Script Lcpdfr.Main.Start". When this function works, it works great. Does anybody know a reason as to why this function causes LCPDFR to crash(90% of the time) and how to make it work well? SInce I play EFLC all the time, I decided to test it on the regular GTA IV - which has no mods at all besides LCPDFR, and it still crashes a lot. Now I realize that the other mods on EFLC are not the cause of the crash. Also does anybody know why the handcuff sound stops working after a few arrests? Thank you in advance for any help.

 

I have this same problem too. I would love to use this when I don't feel like having to arrest someone myself.

Are you sure you made the commandline.txt correctly? I used to have dissappearing textures too, but they were fixed after I used "nomemrestrict". My specs: Intel Core i7-2600k, ATi Radeon 5870 and 6GB RAM. What are yours?

i was talking on skype and i opened up my game and it was windowed how do i fix it.

I thought windowed mode is only enabled when it is an entry in commandline.txt, if it is not on there I have no idea how it was activated.

Try using commandlines such as "nomemrestrict".

Quick query.

I am spawning 2 or 3 vehicles and saving them to create accidents etc on GTA4.

When I come to delete them I delete the saves then try and clear the screen of spawned objects and vehicles however, they remain there.

Within minutes of driving away the game then crashes.

Any ideas how to delete or remove the spawned and saved cars from the game?

You could use Simple Native Trainer and spawn a pedestrian with task set to "drive" and they will the drive the vehicle away. Or you could try this: http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/abandoned-vehicle-cleanup-2-f8690

Have you tired chaning the area that you are patroling in? if it doesn't work try pressing CTRL+F11 that will force a call out. If it doesn't work try to reinstall LCPDFR.

I believe it is ALT+F11 that will force a call-out.

This has gotten off-topic, but, I believe that was done in order to reduce the risk of driveshaft failure and also to allow the car to be more stable at higher speeds.

I hit ALT+P to go on duty but when i do all the graphics go blurry? Can someone please help with this?

"P" toggles between definition on and off. After you go on duty either press "P" again or go to the graphics menu and turn definition on.

As you can see, the power was upgraded over the years. That wasn't the issue. The issue was with Obama making a law for gas mileage, and the FCV got 14 MPG in the city, and 20 MPG on the highway.

Obama's law stated that all cars needed to get 15MPG in the city, if I remember correctly.

Hey guys, so I really searched long time for getting help but no one was able to solve my problem. So my problem is that I got Lcpdfr and it really works if I go on duty.. So after that I can play for a shoot time but than Gta 4 freeze and crash. I had Els v.6 and as I read in the other topics I should take Els v.5 so I did it. But it crashed too.

-> My modded car slots : police,police2,noose,nstockade,fbi,pstockade (every emergency unit :P)

-> Installed mods : - Only a trainer (ingametrainer) without this trainer it crashes too

- Indicator mod. Downloaded here.

I really hope that someone can solve that problem. Please :( :)

Try to disable ELS altogether temporarily, see if that is the cause. Usually it is.

actually, I heard the cancelling of the Vic was due to the fact that with each new model the power was less and less, and the sales to police dept dropped

Yeah, generally it was about low sales therefore the factory was not making enough profit to stay open not because of a law regarding MPG. Also what do you mean by the power was less?

Yes, take out any melee weapon(knife, bat, baton, etc) get close to the suspect, Mouse Aim + E, then select F9 from the menu.
