Really? I thought the reason was because of low sales to civilians when their factory in St. Thomas was capable of producing 250,000 vehicles a year while they only produced 80,000 and the fact they wanted to promote the Taurus model instead. I never heard about a law banning low MPG vehicles.Ford stopped making the Crown Victoria in 2011, since they made a law for mpg, it made it illegal to sell in the U.S for the 2012 model. The final cars were sent to the Middle East.
You may be able to find an earlier model, since all 98-2011 Crown Vics look the same.
Edit: I can't find a BPD car for IV, but I many many GTA SA models.

Make sure you are close to them and using a mouse.I've tried aim +E doesn't work

ELS V6What is the Newest Updated ELS there is, and that I like the Lights SO I might remove it, to see if it will not crash the game

Awesome! I will try this as soon as I am home. *Edit* Seems like the fix worked, thank you so much cp, now tBoGT can be my main game again. Now if only there was a fix that would make Prisoner Transport always respond no matter where you are.It *should* stop them from spawning at all (LCPDFR can spawn them as transports, but GTA won't spawn them, so they won't spam the streets).

Thanks Ekalb, I still do not understand why LCPDFR chooses these "extra vehicles" while it already has police1 and police2. The base game and TLAD worked fine with just these two models as prisoner transport but why must tBoGT use extras? It should have selected noose, polpatriot, police1, police2, fbi, pstockade, and nstockade if it needed to be more diverse.Yeah it's just a side effect of the way the mod essentially adds them to the cars it spawns (so you can select them and so they can appear as backup) but also because those cars aren't given specific drivers, they appear like civilian cars but with no drivers.
I think using traffic mods (trafficload or trafficflow for example) might be able to reduce them. Also I'm not sure but editing the cargrps.dat to include them as police vehicles may also help. Not sure though.
Will this reduce the amount they spawn or will it just change who is driving them?In EFLC/TBoGT/common/data/cargrp.dat (edit it with Notepad), find the line that ends # POPCYCLE_GROUP_COPS. Add policeb, police3, and police4 to that line.

Hey guys, never been here in a while and I just recently began playing EFLC again. This problem has always existed for me but I never had the time to ask and hopefully this will help. So my problem is that whenever I play tBoGT and I arrest a suspect and request prisoner transport (F10), police3 and police4 are sometimes called in and that is when things usually become unplayable. Once they arrive and take the suspect, whichever car was called usually begins to spawn in traffic in unusually high numbers with either invisible or civilian drivers. Sometimes policeb does this even though it has not been called by LCPDFR. I try reloading scripts but things stay the same, and when I reload the save game, the game crashes. Whenever I arrest a suspect I do not always want to take them there myself so F10 is my only other option. They do not always spawn in traffic but usually they do, I estimate around 80% of the time. Is there a reason for this happening and is there a way to prevent it? I am not using any car mods as of right now. It makes no difference either way. All my mods include, LCPDFR 0.95 RC2-R2, inGame Trainer, SNT, indicator script and that is it. Thank you in advance.

Try using commandline.txt commands.

What does that option actually do?I have had the same problem before also. Have you tried going into your Lcpdfr ini and were it says preload models I belive change that to yes and see if that helps. It worked for me so maybe it will for you also.

It is not a CTD then.for your sake on where u get ur information wikipedia is made by a bunch of non educated people who post what they know in the info just saying and no it turns my screen black and said windows isnt responding and crashed or something

A crash to desktop (or CTD) is a computer program crash which is said to occur when a program (commonly a video game) unexpectedly quits, abruptly taking the user back to the desktop. Usually, the term is applied only to crashes where no error is displayed, hence all the user sees as a result of the crash is the desktop. Many times there is no apparent action that causes a CTD. During normal function, the program may freeze for a shorter period of time, and then close by itself. Also during normal function, the program may become a black screen and play the last few seconds of sound (depending on the size of the data buffer) that was being played repeatedly before it crashes to desktop. I just started using ELS vehicles for EFLC and everything works right but I wanted to make the lights brighter. Since ELS V6 includes a custom visualSettings.dat, on the original game, all I had to do is navigate to " C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\common\data " and replace the file and the lights are bright. But when I navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\EFLC\common\data and replace the file, the lights are still dim. Can someone please assist me in getting emergency vehicle lights brighter for EFLC? Thank you in advance.

The fuzziness in TLAD can be fixed by disabling " Noise Effect " from the display settings in the main menu.Thanks for the fast reply and good advice! Thats what I was thinking... I think Ballad of Gay Tony is the smoothest one out of all three (Lost and Damned is fuzzier and GTA 4 is slower).

I recommend EFLC because LCPDFR has been optimized to support EFLC and it works great. Plus, EFLC has way more to offer than the original. Also, if you plan on modding, almost all mods made for the original are now compatible with EFLC.Hey all, I have a question. I looked on Amazon for GTA 4 and the reviews are horrible because of the installation and gameplay of the game. I looked at Episodes from Liberty City and saw much better reviews. So here's the question, Which one should I get if I am only going to put LCPDFR on and play this only?

Are you using the supported patches and it's corresponding scripthooks. 1.0.3.0 (with ScriptHook 0.4.0), 1.0.4.0 (ScriptHook 0.4.0) and 1.0.7.0 (with ScriptHook 0.5.1) - http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=481572At first no crash, it just shows "taxi-only".
But when I put msvcr100d.dll to the main GTA IV directory, I load a save in GTA IV, the game says "Loaded" at the bottom of the monitor, and then it crashes after 2 seconds.

I also use this fix and it works like a charm. Do you have the file " msvcr100d.dll " in the main GTA IV directory? That file was what was needed for the fix to work for me.I have TrafficLoad installed to my GTA IV game.
I heard that to make it work it needs a good amount of RAM. I have 4GB of RAM but still doesn't work,
even if I put low graphics quality.
Any other way to make it work?

I just realized a couple of minutes ago that pressing T with the shotgun no longer works. Will the LTL Shotgun return in future releases?
