Well... if you look in the ELS.ini file in your main GTA4 folder, you should be able to change the letter that corresponds to the lights that you want to come on... Below is my ELS.ini (pat of it)... [ CONTROLS ] Toggle_LSTG = 74 // J by default Toggle_SECL = 75 // K by default Toggle_WRNL = 76 // L by default Now, if you change the K and L keys to "J" then they will all come on when you push "J"... See how you go Doug Edit: Didnt work... tried a few things and couldnt get it working... reinstalled V1.00 and left it completely vanilla... no car mods or ped mods...one button to turn sirens and lights on now... no crashes... yay!

This is interesting as i have lots of modified peds in various forms of the game (UK police, NZ Police, LCPD Police) and none crash the game at all! I use the trainer to teleport to the police building and end up insode it no problem... :)

Thansk my freind! Well donr on all the work... my system worksfne with no issues at all... I use the manul install and have 5 diffenrt versions with NZ cops, NYPD cops, UK cops... all work fine here!

Hi guys, this has happened every time so i must be doing something wrong here... Sceneraio... initaite a vehicle stop and then suspect flees ... start a pursuit and call in back up..... the suspect flees and i lose him so discontinue the pursuit... Thing is after that, i can no longer pull over vehicles using the 'shift' key as normal... have tried 'force duty' but still doesnt work... Not sure what else to try... any ideas? Attached are my Advanced hook log and the LCPDFR log files.. Thansk for any help!

I seem to get my 'pull over' function lost after one 'pull over'... cant seem to get t back and now some weird "MMA10 error" Sheesh!!

Wow!!! Leading the suspect to the car and putting them in iot is awesome! Simple and intuitive! Taser works a treat! Just getting used to the controls but seems brilliant! Well done to the coders!

Just a qucik question chaps - will there be a new key guide as assume some of the key commands have changed? Also, if i understand correctly,i can hook up a wirless controller to use to drive and use the keyboard and mouse for on foot work? Thansk for your hard work on this - much appreciated!

Hi folks, Just a qucik question... when v1 is released, can i install it over the top of v0.95 or would it be prudent to install on a fresh copy of GTA4? Even uninstall v0.95 first if possible? Many thanks Doug

Thanks a bucnh for this...makes the whole thing even more real! Well done! I also use Bravehearts scripts along with yours... Bravehearts allows for breath testing etc... although they dont conflict I see double call outs one with yours and one with Bravehearts... how to use the other features of Braveherats script but use yours for the arresting and callouts?

Ah ok... For example... pressing LAlt-o spwns a chopper! Alt-T does not spwan a taser... a chopper as well! Alt-U spawns a car! While i am at it,the fladhing lights or lack of is a problem... in that there are none.... downloaded a ELS car... downloaed ELS and installed... in game pressed Alt-M i assume so they would work... sirens went ok with the G button but no lights at all... what does "make sure its turned on in the ELS config" mean? Hi Asuma, I have downloaded a car which supports ELS as above... installed fine... but how do you do point 3? The ELS config what needs ot be changed to turn it on? So far i have what seems like a continuous glowing light but certainly no flashing llights... Any ideas? Cheers

Getting the swing of this whole thing and very enjoyable thus far! Immersive! I watched a heap of YouTube videos and all of the plice vehocles are well driven and controlled... seem to be very smooth whereas mine tend to jerla dn accelerate super quick when pushing the W key... Do the expereicned folks here use controllers or mod the dring somehow or is it just plain old practice? Tansk guys... the vids are great! D

Yep... appreciate the nature of the game and i guess i am being naieve thinkning that swearing was the biggest issue on a 'cop' game! Having said that, i will fiddle with the sound and see what can be done... its a pity that the engine for this has to be GTA... i guess a dedicated sim just woudnt be the same? Hi guys, Now that the game is up and running it is just great! Never played any GTA games before so was surprised at the amount of language (foul) that is used... my kids want to play but would llike to see if there is a way to stop the bad language at all (dont say turn the soudn down!!!)? Hi again guys... well, good news! All is working as it shuould! So far i loaded offline and went to the police station... took the tour and went into the correct room to go on duty.... was able to change my appearance to a cop that suits me and went on patrol... Now... the thing is the key strokes are all messed up! I downloaded the R2 Key Guide 1.5.1 and they dont make any sense! Is there another? So far, good to be in the game... i need to find out how to mod now and how to turn on the sirens etc Cheers for all the help!... Especially Asuna! Cheers Doug

Hi guys... well progress being made... thus far i have deleted the Dsound.dll and used the xlive one as playing offline... i completed the first mission and saved the game... then pushed Alt-P and headed to a police station (after the save of course) ... the car parked and i appeared inside the building.... i moved to the red circle by the glass induction doors and immediately appeared outside the building with no change! I must be doing something wrong here! Once in the building should i simply push E for the tour or what to do? Thansk again guys, getting this sorted! Cheers Doug
