  1. Aye that's very true, I still see where you are coming from also. Do apologise if I came across like I was jumping on your back I can reassure you I wasn't!
  2. It's impossible for you to know your computer is completely virus free without some sort of software to establish that. It's never good to remove an anti-virus.
  3. It may be useful to also know what hardware the laptop has for your son. Make sure it meets the actual requirements of the game, then he will be able to experience full game play but be aware because the modding and scripts are instructing the game to function in a way it originally isn't designed to, it will crash quite regularly which in some cases aren't your fault it's simply just the game; just restart and everything should be back to normal. I wish you and your son all the best!

Hi, I'm sorry but I am going to need a well explained description of the problem you are experiencing because I cannot fully understand what is going on for you. Are you saying that because you have ELS AI enabled it's crashing your game? what exactly is the problem you are having.
  5. Let me know if his method doesn't work, I have one lined up for you. Follow this: 1. Download gta iv registry repair from this link (http://gta4.gamebanana.com/tools/5319) 2. After downloading it extract zip file 3. 1st Open PDF file and read it and you will know how to register the game 4 After registering the game run the patch 1.0.7.0
  6. It looks like for some reason the game isn't liking the ENB graphics mod. What are your computer specifications? if they are adequate I would recommend installing a different graphic mod which is more suitable.
  7. Fantastic news, wish you all the best mate.
  8. You should always have a clean backup of your GTA IV directory before you engage in any modding with the game as this restores everything plus avoids the unnecessary inconvenience of reinstalling the entire game. It looks like the siren mod is causing it, uninstall it and get back to me bud :)
  9. For the trainer issue just deactivate it by pressing RALT + RCTRL + D to reactivate the trainer press RALT + RCTRL + E. With the issue for your ELS have you configured it correctly? you must configure the ini file for ELS and change some settings. I will copy and paste the things you need to change. This is how it should be in the ELS file: FunctionKey = 17 // Ctrl by default *** ComboKey = 18 // Alt by default Ai_Els_Sp = off Ai_Els_Mp = off I hope this helps. I'll leave a video of a person demonstrating how to do it, simply view his description and skip to the ELS configuration part.
  10. Hi moDest, what scripts/plugins have you installed recently?
  11. Right well your computer is superior than mine so I am confident this isn't down to your computer. So just to recap at the beginning it wouldn't let you even downgrade the patch but now it has, then you try to load up the game but it doesn't load up correctly but you eventually got the game to load? If that is correct, least we have some progress! Your new complaint is that every time you turn on your EMS lights with ELS the game crashes, what version of ELS do you have and have you installed it correctly?
  12. Okay bud, it's fantastic you have made progress. What are your computer specifications and do other games load fine? I would try to uninstall everything including LCDPFR then try to load up the game normally, to ensure good functionality because the game will be dysfunctional with mods.
  13. Okay I can see your problem. Try do the following and get back to me on your progression! We'll get this working don't worry :) 1. Download gta iv registry repair from this link (http://gta4.gamebanana.com/tools/5319) 2. After downloading it extract zip file 3. 1st Open PDF file and read it and you will know how to register the game 4 After registering the game run the patch 1.0.7.0 I hope this works!
  14. How have you installed LCPDFR, manually or on an automatic installer?
  15. Hi BestReplay, what patch is your GTA IV? LCPDFR is not compatible with the recent patch 1.0.8.0 therefore you need to downgrade your GTA IV to patch 1.0.7.0 to allow LCPDFR to be compatible with your GTA. There is a guide on how to downgrade the patch on the forms. I will link you to it. The link: Additionally, if you have already done the down grade then I will recommend to list all of your recent and current scripts, car packs and ped skins as they may be the cause of your crash.
  16. Have you recently installed any additional car packs, ped skins and scripts?
  17. Not a problem mate I'm happy to try to help you as much as I possibly can. It could be possible that you may have installed a few mods/scripts which can influence game crashes, most of the time it is not LCPDFR related however the LCDPFR.Loader.Loader can be an indicator a mod/script has caused your crash. I will definitely consider reinstalling LCDPFR completely, before any implementation of scripts/mods have you saved a previous version of your GTA IV directory before any mods, including LCDPFR have been installed? this will prevent you having to reinstall the entire game again. But before doing that it is best to see exactly what script/mod is causing the crash. Will you provide a list of the scripts you have used? if you can try uninstalling them one by one to then try run the game. Eventually you may be able to identify which one is causing the issue, simply remove it and all should be as it normally would be.
  18. Hi DuhNorris, I recommend you move this to the GTA V support thread because this section is for GTA IV support most of the experienced users who can deal with your problem will be on the GTA V support section. I hope you can get your problem resolved as soon as possible.
  19. What scripts/mods have you installed? can you provide a list please mate.
  20. Hi are you running in the game in administrator mode? because sometimes it may require permission to use the file and due to insufficient permissions on your system it will not find it hence it not being found whilst in game. Try running on administrator mode if you haven't already but if you are already running in administrator mode then get back to me on here.
  21. Hey mate is your complaint with regards to GTA IV or GTA V? If it's GTA IV you have provided the GTA V directory but if your complaint orginally is about LSPDFR instead of LCDPFR, then I would suggest to move the topic over to the GTA V support thread because there will be experienced users on there. Since I have not played LSPDFR much I'm not in a position to offer accurate advice.
  22. For some unusual reason it was the policing script from braveheart what kept causing it, can run the game perfectly now.
  23. I've got back ups, I'm not an idiot. It's resolved now anyway I learned that I have made a backup of the original directory before any installations were made a while ago.
  24. Hi Scott, have you installed lcpdfr correctly? can you please show me your GTA IV directory.
  25. I think you may have installed LCDPFR incorrectly, try reinstall LCDPFR completely and see if that works.
