Thank you so much for the reply and feedback! 🙂 I'm glad you enjoyed it. I wouldn't classify this one as a beginner one by any means, but I was going to work on it, and thought others might enjoy following along from having a base idea to a derivable vehicle. 🙂 I may do another one focused on beginners in the texture world.

I noticed there wasn't a lot of new options for the community the Halloween, and knowing how YouTube can be... you really want to have New content to keep that audience retention. So here is a little demo of 3 vehicle skins! Enjoy!

This is a Halloween themed pack of 3 skins WITH lighting textures to allow for Orange/Green lights(Optional). If you do not add the lighting textures, your lights will default to Red/Blue 🙂 NEW 2019 HALLOWEEN BASED PACK is now available here: the introduction and the entire stream really showcased these vehicles better than I could have myself. Thank you so much @acepilot2k7 These skins were made specifically for vehicles from TheGreatHah's LSPD ELS Pack, however! keep in mind they will work for other vehicles utilizing the same templates 🙂 The vehicles currently compatible with this pack is the following: 2015 Tahoe (Tahoe_sign_1) 2014 Charger(chr2_sign_1) 2011 CVPI (cvpi_sign_1) Installation of Vehicle Texture Install is no different than any other skin. Just place the .png file into the vehicle's .ytd Texture Library File in OpenIV. Installation of Lighting Textures: I have included texture files to change the Red -> Orange and the Blue -> Green. 1) Place the image files into the .ytd Texture Library of the correct vehicle. They have the same name as existing files, so they will take the place of the original colors. 2) Place the XML file that corresponds with the vehicle you have changed the lights for, into your pack_default file as you normally would install your ELS file.- 4 comments

Have you ever looked at the vehicle texture download section and thought, "man.... I wish I could just make my own!"? This tutorial starts from the very beginning. I started out with the department and the idea of changing from a Police department to a Sheriff's Office. I also knew I wanted a 2014 Charger & 2013 Tahoe. This video works all the way from start to finish on the 2013 Charger where the vehicle and skin is installed, and the OpenIV 3D image of the vehicle is used to test the results. This comes after the R* update so I was unable to test in game (always test before releasing!!!!!) Hope you guys enjoy - and be sure to bring a snack, drink and hit that 1080p quality as this tutorial is over an hour long. 🙂 thanks!! P.S. i apologize for the casual approach as I have not done a lot of Instructional type videos.

I'm glad you enjoy them so much 🙂 I did a little research and found that if you rename the included "dawkins_cvpi_1" file to "cvpi_sign_1" the templates should match and fit perfectly on thehurks cvpi. Which looks amazing btw. Nice choice!🙂 I have been running into two cvpi templates that end up with the cvpi_sign_1 name which is beyond weird to me. Haha.. thanks for bringing that to my attention!

I absolutely agree on that! The car is amazing. It is part of the work JJDawkins is putting into a State Patrol pack. He hasn't given me any updates on when it may be publicly released, but I really do hope it's soon. I'll be sure to post an update on this page when I find out for sure. 🙂- 22 comments

I'll be sure to read any comments that come in regarding this pack! 2010 Silverado: Izick_sign_1 2011 CVPI: cvpi_sign_1 & dawkins_cvpi_1 2014 Caprice: caprice_sign_1 2015 FPIU: explor_sign_1 2016 Charger: charger_sign_1 2016 Taurus(FPIS): tau_sign_1 These were made with Templates that came with JJDawkins Packs. these skins work with his vehicles for sure, as I personally tested them in game as I developed the skins. He used two cvpi templates, so there is the standard cvpi_sign_1, as well as dawkins_cvpi_1 in case you happen to use his (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!) Hey bizzlezx10r! Sorry for the long delay as I've been off PC for quite some time now. The pack was originally made for BradM's pack which did not contain a CVPI. That said, I do understand the appeal for these vehicles. I have begun working on a cvpi_sign_1 version, as well as a dawkins_cvpi_1 version of this vehicle. They are in testing right now. 🙂- 17 comments

Hey Bizby! Thanks for checking out the skins. These are actually textures used on vehicles models made by other people. These were originally made for BradMs LSPD pack linked above in the description. Once you have those vehicles installed, you place the .png files from this pack into the vehicle that corresponds with the name of the skin. For example. Installing the 2013 explorer from his pack, then installing the exp_sign_1.png into the police3.ytd directory file should do it 🙂 hope this helps! 🙂

Unfortunately that one has not been uploaded by JJ yet. He sent it to me directly to test. He has not given an ETA on when it will be available either, but I would be more than happy to send you an update when I learn more. 🙂 Also FYI - If/When he does upload it, it will likely be part of a Highway Patrol pack.

The screenshots are actually not from a single pack. But all are from JJDawkins. His lspd addon pack and sheriff packs found here have most of them though 🙂 i also test vehicles that are still being developed, but you cant really go wrong with a car from JJs packs. 🙂 Haha gotta go all the way 😉 I totally understand. Perhaps something will change along the way some day 🙂 thanks for the thoughts and comment!!

I'll be sure to read any comments that come in regarding this pack! This pack was created as an answer to a request by 1Adam181 near the end of last year. I think we were both happy with how the results ended up 🙂 2011 CVPI: cvpi_sign_1 (not included in BradM's pack) 2013 FPIU: exp_sign_1 2014 Charger: chr_sign_1 2014 BMW R 1200RT: bmw_sign_1 2016 Charger: charger_sign_1 2015 Tahoe: tahoe_sign_1 2016 Taurus(FPIS): tau_sign_1 2016 Dodge Challenger Hellcat (Potatocat_sign_1) 2018 Dodge Charger (charg_sign_1 by GUMP) These were based on templates provided by BradM's [ELS] LSPD Vehicle Pack 1.1.0. That said, these vehicles will not only work with this pack, but also others that have the same vehicle template names I.E. 2013 FPIU: exp_sign_1" Be sure to try them out on any vehicles you find with the same name for the skin files and let me, and everyone else know below which ones are also compatible! 🙂 A few rules I highly recommend taking to time to read.
