Texture for CVPI. One livery only. I will make one for a Charger later on, as well as more liveries (possibly, haven't decided yet).
  1. I can't wait to see this! Gonna have to reinstall ELS. I have a texture almost done on a CVPI for Vermont State Police. Will work on a Charger skin after that. I have no problem sending them your way for the project to save you some time.

Includes 4 Liveries for CVPI's, Chargers, Tahoes (Z71, and cj24's Impala. These skins do not have unit numbers on them yet, so for now each livery is the same. I will add numbers later on. Please PM me if there are any bugs. Please do not modify or reupload with out my permission. Same goes for uploading to other sites.

  3. Above all, take the program seriously. Most explorer posts are run paramilitary-style from what I gather. I joined my local post, which was on a small municipal pd. We had very few members, so it wasn't paramilitary, but we still had meetings and did ride alongs. I highly recommend the program, even just doing the ride alongs are worth it. I have since gone off to college, and the local pd here only allows one ride along for good. I was pretty bummed to hear that. If you are truly interested in law enforcement, ride alongs are a great oppurtunity. Explorer posts are even better oppurtunities. I say go for it!
  4. I believe that image would have to be mapped to the car model in Zmodeler,or something, like a texture would be. So adding it in the model won't make it work.
  5. throw "maverick" into the name somewhere
  6. Up here, red is reserved for fire and ems. Amber is for warning lights such as plow trucks and towing, and blue is for police. We don't have any cruisers up here to my knowledge that use both red and blue or all red.
  7. UNMARKED SILVERADO http://gtapolicemods...rd-Super-Duty MARKED FORD SUPER DUTY
  8. No, it is an inherant "bug" if you will. The developer(s) of the mod knew about the problem, but because ELS spawns extra parts to work, it makes the vehicle fix itself. There is no way around it.
  9. Can anyone post instructions on how to make a custom flatbed work with the tow service mod? I am not sure which truck to replace in the vehicles.img file, but I know there are several realistic flatbed tow trucks available for download. Thanks, Doug
  10. Did you change the screen resolution of the game? I can't see mine, but I changed the game to 800x600. It still works if I do alt+m for changing patterns, I just cant see the panel to see what pattern I chose.
  11. Can you also make a version with black rims? Please and thank you :)
  12. I just remembered, I installed an enb, but removed only some of the files. Gonna have to look into that and see if that has something to do with it. Also realized today that I crash if I get a 4 star wanted level. UPDATE: Reinstalled GTAIV, and put in a few mods, but kept it to a minimum. Still crashing. Must be a car mod I did or something....
  13. If I remember correctly, it is the horizontal portion of the bridge above #27 on this map: http://images4.wikia...ps_numbered.png I haven't installed any map mods either.
  14. As the title states, GTAIV will crash on me if I try to drive on East Borough Bridge. I can drive on it for a ways, and then about halfway through the bridge, the game shuts down. Any thoughts?
  15. When making skin requests, it would be good to include a picture of the car you want the skin modeled after, as well as the vehicle you will be using the skin on.
  16. You may want to look into the indicator mod (I think it is available in the downloads section of this site) for turn signals. It works great, and you can customize the keys. As for the headlights, the H key should turn them on/off.
  17. Yup, I do my textures with GIMP, works great. Perspective is great for slanting words or images. I used perspective to reverse the slant for the opposite side decal.
  18. Those cars look fantastic!
  19. If you cropped that decal out of the picture, it would work really well in your texture. You would have to take out most of the white background, but leaving some wouldn't matter, as it won't show on the car in-game. I did this with a texture I made yesterday, and it looks great. The picture you posted would work great for grabbing that decal from. Here is the car texture I am talking about:
