heres what the vehicle looks like in the game..only way to get lights/sirens is by pushing in left stick on my xbox controller, or e on the keyboard...which of course opens the computer as well...and only flashes the taillights..... also ctrl p does NOTHING....so i know something is wrong

So I have installed a couple ELS vehicles, along with the main ELS program, and I'm able to spawn the vehicles. However the lighting system is NOT working. Please help me :'( I'll send screens of all the files. I'm 99% certain i've done it the EXACT way i've seen in all the videos but I'm still not getting it to work!!! I'll put up an example here. THanks in advance! fyi $50 donation to whoever first helps me and gets it going!

so when i place them there, they will automatically place over the originals?

so when i open my patchday 17 file now, which is the newest file....it doesnt have the police files in them. all of those are back in patchday2, 3 and a couple others...is that why my els isn't working?!

So being not so savvy myself..how hard is it to install a new cpu? Push comes to shove i'll bring it to my cousin who works on and builds computers....but he lives a little ways away

So I need to get a new graphics card to even try and play the game....can anyone suggest what i should get?! I'm running windows 7 with an Intel 2 Quad Cpu Q9400 @2.66ghz 64 bit op system with 8 gig ram..I'm guessing i need to update the ram too but I'm curious what someone might think is the best graphics card is to start. Thanks for the input!

i've got it to run, however in my diagnostic check it still gives me errors....in the game i cant get the taser to work or deploy..if i read the instructions right you're supposed to equip it by selecting alt T? does that seem right? i'll also attach my log file so you can see the errors i'm getting when i run diagnostic Diagnostics_18.7.2016_20_6_49.log

yup running with dsound, running through launch, some of the controls are wonky...gotta learn how to play!

i was able to get the game working by right clicking the root folder and unchecking the read only file box....its working...but i cant figure out how to do anything lol

this is pretty much where i'm stuck too!

go to your program files/steam/steamapps/common/grandtheftautoIV then right click on your GTAIV file, go under properties, make sure its not selected as read only...then you are able to modify the files...thats if what i've been reading has lead me to believe...

ohhh gotcha...sorry about that...i'll remove it all and upload the logfile....can you see anything that might help fix my problem?!
