But then how would collectors like myself obtain them? Also, from a technical standpoint, here in the U.S. there are many volunteer fire departments and volunteer EMS who, legally, are still considered civilians... how would they obtain the necessary equipment?

The most expensive thing on his car is probably the two LED spotlights. The pushbar can be bought used on ebay for pennies on the dollar, same with most used lights (I have tons), and the rest are el-cheapo chinese-made LED lights. All things considered... I still dearly miss my old CVPI :(

Wow that looks awesome. Kinda puts mine to shame haha. I like the bridge graphic. Actually, all your Harbor Police skins put mine to shame. You should release at least one of them, there needs to be more harbor patrol skins! Not enough of them out there. -

It's a good start. To some it just looks like you slapped some text on and that's it, but from a technical standpoint, the text is straight on the vehicle, they're symmetrical, and decently proportioned. Looking forward to what you can do in the future.- 7 comments

I usually upload the images to imgur, then link to them in the description. More tedious then attaching them, yes, but at least it's unlimited when you go the imgur route.

A wealth of information about the LAPD can be found in this Wikipedia page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Angeles_Police_Department_resources including information on radio codes (like what “1-Adam-12” means) etc.
