  1. Tried it, and still getting the Loader.Loader error.
  2. Got the fix. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Delete AdvancedHookInit.asi from the root directory (delete means simply move to a "backup" folder), and then manually install the Taser. If you disabled DEP like I did, make sure that you re-enable it. However, I'm back to Loader.Loader errors, despite having installed all of the prereqs.
  3. Same exact issue. I right click, hit "Run As Administrator" and it's like I'm opening the "has stopped working" dialog. Every so often, Windows would pop up a DEP Error Message when it crashed... I disabled DEP all together, rebooted my PC, and still having the same issue. Uninstalled LCPD:FR multiple times, tried the manual and automatic installs, repairs, overwriting the automatic install files with the manual install files, nothing works. Windows doesn't even give me any details about the crash. If I uninstall LCPDFR, the game opens and works fine. I've tried all of the troubleshooting methods messaged here, and like the OP, my problem started after installing the .NET Framework and the VC++ Redistributable. I tried uninstalling the x64 version, and only keeping the x86 version as another had suggested, but that did not work. Also tried copying the msvcr110.dll file to the install directory. Didn't work either. Specs: OS: Windows Vista (x64) Home Premium RAM: 8 GB Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti CPU: Intel Core2Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33 GHz (Yes, I'm aware that it's a bottleneck, but that's irrelevant for this issue)
  4. Huh? What the hell is she on? Doesn't look nearly slutty enough...
  5. I do got some minor criticism, now that I think about it. Some of the patterns aren't "seemless." If performance gets to be choppy for a period of time, then the primary lights may go off for a bit because of the step in the pattern. If the performance is bad enough in that area (I'm thinking of areas like Chinatown and Beachgate), it gives the illusion that the Primary lights are off for a second. I don't know if much can be done about that kind of an issue, but maybe something to better optimize consistency in the speed of the flashing would be nice. I know patterns have different speeds, but it doesn't make sense when in one area of the map, they're going so fast that there's almost no color in them, and in other areas of the map, they just look like cruise mode lights.
  6. Actually... it'd likely be the exact opposite. The only mods that Steam doesn't like are the ones that spoof their master server (ie. BOTs have fake pings, Maximum Player lying, things like that.) For the most part, that's understandable I guess.
  7. Sweet! One thing that I always thought would be cool is another light bar type where you can use these kinds of modes, especially manually aiming the lights:
  8. I meant is it an issue as far as is it morally/ethically/legally/technically right to do that to someone else's model. I'm sure actually doing it won't be an issue... provided that I can/could do it.
  9. I'm probably showing my ignorance here with this whole modeling thing... but... Is it ok to take apart someone elses model like that? Like, I wouldn't use the top rotator, just the arrow stick (assuming that I do use it.) Like I said, this is just going to be a slicktop... but my next one may be a non slicktop variant of this one. I'll also keep looking for the grille lights. If this car goes how I'm imagining it, it should be pretty cool. Hopefully I'll be satisfied with it enough to be able to release it here.
  10. I decided to try making an ELS car. I'm finding some unlocked models that will work for what I want to do, but there's still a couple that I'm curious about/looking for. I want to try doing an undercover/slicktop CVPI; Like I said, I found a few lightbar/led models that will work for what I want to do already, but one of the things that I want to do that I'm having trouble with finding models for is grille lights. I'm thinking about adding six grill lights... two in the center and four in the corners. I was planning on using this model for the two center lights: http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=2211 And this one for the corner lights: http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1327 My questions are... would those models be something that would be used for grille lights on a real car? If not, are there any unlocked models that someone could point me towards? And does somebody have a link to a halogen directional/warning lights bar? I kind of rushed this post a little bit, let me know if I need to clarify something.
  11. Three more very small suggestions... 1) The ability to clean clothes without the model changing. Everytime I used SNT to clean the clothes after a gunfight or something, the model would change as well. Maybe adding a feature to the station would be nice to fix this. 2) Equip/Unequip NOOSE Gear. A possible way to do this could be behind a police vehicle, "Press E to open the trunk. Press Ctrl+E (Or whatever) to equip/unequip SWAT gear." This would add the vest, helmet and maybe it could also equip the M4. 3) Stop sticks, like the ones in this video:
  12. I think that he's referring to the one on the front... the rectangle.
  13. Check your max ELS Cars setting, and try lowering it. That setting is what kept causing crashes for me... same exact symptoms as you. Drove myself crazy before I figured it out... lol... I could be wrong, but I think that ELS draws the resources that it thinks it will need when loading the game. When it figures out that the PC can't provide all the resources nessescary, it crashes the game with what I think is a c0000005 error/exception (trying to access memory that's not there).
  14. Yeah, it looks like the Whelen Delta... just with a clear dome. And the lights are all red. Caine's model should suffice though. Thanks guys!
  15. Could someone identify this light bar for me, and possibly direct me to a CVPI model that has it, if there is one? Sorry for the blurry image at the top, I did that to show that the warning/directional lights were inside of the bar already. Hopefully that's good enough to be able to tell.
  16. This. Also, a couple more ideas that I had (Sorry, I know... it seems like I'm being overly wanting with all of these... but hey, inspiration! Am I right?) - Helicopter tasks, such as callouts for pursuits, searches, speed enforcement (marking cars to get pulled over), being a pilot for the gunners, and spotlight operation. The helicopters would be on the roofs of the police stations without a need to spawn them via a trainer or a cheat code, obviously. You'd just go to them right from your car. - This could be something that could be done through the (very cool) callout programming... if it is, I apologize for posting this... but what about things such as a call to investigate a car that struck something like a utility pole or a fire hydrant, or 911 reports of a reckless speeder/driver, person talking on the phone while driving, etc?
  17. 2. No, it's basically a different way of doing a traffic stop. Maybe someone here could explain this better than I could... 3. Each have different applications, but yeah... I guess for the purposes of LCPDFR, that's true. 4. Maybe do it as a toggle by car. Example, POLICE won't do it, but POLICE2 will. They don't even have to start shooting right away. Just draw guns out, and only fire if they need to fire. 6. Trying to hide/evade police. 8. I was going to say through using PSTOCKADE, and being assigned callouts to various stations for pickups and transports (Example, going from the jail to Hove Beach's police station for a pickup, back to the jail, then to another police station, and then back... in some cases maybe picking up more than one prisoner...) but your answer to number 10 pretty much killed this idea. 10. Yeah, I guess you make a good point there. Still would be kind of cool to have, though. Some other ideas I had... A. Abandoned Vehicles B. Cars driving in bad places (Like on a pier, pathway, or the beach, or just going the wrong way) C. Ability to issue multiple citations at a traffic stop D. Bug Fix: When calling a driver out of a vehicle, if the driver was released, they sometimes would not return to their vehicle again. Not sure if this is GTAIV coding or LCPDFFR coding, though. E. Someone mentioned something about grenades. Would it be possible at all to do something like flashbang/stun grenades, where it's just a bang, and some smoke rather than an explosion? Like maybe Ctrl + Alt + F arms flash grenades, as opposed to regular grenades?
  18. - Felony Traffic Stops, where AI will assist with extraction. - Driver Call Backs - Pepper Spray - (Enable/Disable via settings): Arming the Assault Rile or Shotgun automatically calls for backup if done within x feet of your vehicle - Setting up road blocks, and a button to command AI to shoot out tires/the engine block rather than the driver - In chases, the suspect tries in some cases to board the subways, but you can stop it. - Ask consent to search cars/ability to request a car search warrant - Transport prisoners to the correctional facillity - Prison Riots/Escapes - A way to be a prison guard (Entrance/Exit like police stations?) I know, a bunch of ideas listed, but these could make for some pretty realistic gameplay.
  19. Thought of some more suggestions. - All have one thing in common... the ability for AI to do traffic stops. - First suggestion is AI traffic stops in general. If an AI cop spots a speeder, red light runner, an illegal lane change, or some other traffic violation, the AI turns on the lights and pulls the vehicle over, and if the secondary lights are off, they're turned on, as well as the takedown lights, all of which would be turned off at the end of the traffic stop. Obviously, the same events could occur. - Second suggestion is the ability to shoot radar from a helicopter, and flag vehicles to be pulled over by the AI. - Third suggestion is similar to the second suggestion, but could be done from a cruiser shooting radar at the side of the road (one car shooting radar, the other car, or cars, doing the traffic stops) - Call outs to assist AI at traffic stops, and with traffic stop related events such as pursuits.
  20. Can't even get into the game without it crashing. Mods Installed: ELS v7, SNT, LCPDFR, Bravehearts Policing Script and Dash Cam. 21. Sweet, I'll keep an eye out for it. But, can anyone confirm what the model of the light bar on that SUV is? I'm pretty sure that the car is a Whelen Liberty (correct me if I'm wrong), but I can't figure out what the model on the SUV is. And can anyone tell me what model those lights on the push bars are as well? Really like those cars pictured (if you couldn't tell... lol...).
  22. I took a look at that before I posted this thread. I don't like that light bar, though, plus the fact that it only has the two roof spotlights for warning lights instead of halogens (both would be great to have, as mentioned in the OP), and something doesn't seem to scale with that model for some reason. Also, I can't seem to find anything for the SUV. The lightbar on the car pictured is a Whelen Liberty, not sure about the SUV, though. The pushbar lights are different as well. It looks like a good model, but doesn't replicate the ones in the picture closely enough for me. (Had to leave some good feedback for it... lol) Thanks for the link, though. Anyone else?
  23. Hi guys, I've seen downloads for the 2011 and 2012 Interceptors, but none for the 2013 Interceptors. http://www.ford.com/fordpoliceinterceptor/ Like those. Same primary lightbars, too. I'm not sure which ones those are in the previews in the picture. If they could be made with the Whelen Liberties as well, that'd be great. The one thing that I'd request also, is it's fine if the two rear spotlights are kept, but if a halogen bar was added in the back windows (seperate from the Primary lights), that'd be great too. So, basically have the halogen bar, plus the two rear facing spotlights on the top of the cruiser as secondaries. It'd be cool to see these released for the community.
  24. If it's not too late for this... Dual Siren Capabilities. Not sure how it would be implemented, but it would be REALLY cool if there was some way to implement the ability to control two sirens manually, or to offset them. Something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kwoI2ppWcY
