Vari reacted to Cyan in Changing the Forum Response LayoutI've just deployed some changes today, there is now a 'Newest' button on file comments. You can use this to see the newest comments sorted first.
We might make this a default in the future, but from today it is at least now an option.

Vari got a reaction from Jeffdadawg in Changing the Forum Response LayoutI think that the better solution to this wouldn't be a "newest first" sorting method but instead a Q & A format like most support forums do (StackOverflow, Quora, etc) Where the question and answers are pinned at the top. On top of that, OP marking to distinguish OP and other users.

Vari reacted to UnknownBastion in Changing the Forum Response LayoutThis would be lovely for the Support Threads. And I believe was suggested before.

Vari reacted to UnknownBastion in Changing the Forum Response LayoutHeya!
I was given a suggestion by a friend which I have to agree with. Would it be possible to change the comments on file download pages so that newest responses are at the top and older responses are at the bottom. That way the most relevant info is available at the top as opposed to responses that might be weeks or even months old.
Thanks For Reading! 🙂

Vari reacted to UnknownBastion in Welcome to the new LCPDFR.comIts just my way of making the bugs more optimistic. xD
Hey! I think it looks pretty! xD
How about....

Vari reacted to UnknownBastion in LSPDFR 0.4.8 - Now available!Im pretty sure he meant us. You were fine. 🙂

Vari reacted to UnknownBastion in LSPDFR 0.4.8 - Now available! You got it dude! 🙂

Vari reacted to UnknownBastion in LSPDFR 0.4.8 - Now available!I think I have been rather nice. I stuck to factual points, never made a single personal attack, and only made suggestions as to what you might want to try before blaming LSPDFR itself. But sure, you can call me rude. I could care less either way.
I hope you have a good day. 🙂

Vari reacted to UnknownBastion in LSPDFR 0.4.8 - Now available! This.

Vari reacted to UnknownBastion in LSPDFR 0.4.8 - Now available!Except that still wont fix the issue of him crashing even without RPH.
-
Vari reacted to UnknownBastion in LSPDFR 0.4.8 - Now available! That isn't an LSPDFR issue, that sounds like a mods folder issue. Remove whatever you added to it recently and try again.
-
Vari reacted to UnknownBastion in LSPDFR 0.4.8 - Now available!Does it crash when you launch without RPH?
That's what I am saying. The update checker that comes with his stuff makes it so it cant be used. Remove it, and you should be fine. It's also good practice to see if a Plugin might be causing the issue first. Before you expand to other issues.
Asking stuff like:
Is the game crashing when launched normally?
Does removing ScriptHookV solve the issue?
Does removing all the Plugins except LSPDFR solve the issue?
-
Vari reacted to UnknownBastion in LSPDFR 0.4.8 - Now available!Maybe because a majority of the people use Bejo's Plugins.
-
Vari reacted to UnknownBastion in LSPDFR 0.4.8 - Now available!Define: "Broke my game". If RPH is crashing, make sure you have removed all of BejoIjo's stuff, as it has an update checker.
-
Vari reacted to UnknownBastion in LSPDFR 0.4.8 - Now available!I mean...if the Plugins that a user is using is outdated, then you should. Because it can cause stability issues. That is how Bejo's mods act when LSPDFR is updated, due to the version checker. Heck, some mods that still use 0.3b are completely unstable and should not be used in the slightest with the new LSPDFR version.
It honestly should. It's a very important path to consider when troubleshooting a users issues.
Subtle flex but okay. Still doesn't subtract from the point that I made that the new version of LSPDFR is most likely not the cause of the crash and that you didn't even bother to test your Plugins.
-
Vari reacted to UnknownBastion in LSPDFR 0.4.8 - Now available!Sounds like you didn't try everything. You could have just removed everything from Plugins except LSPDFR and see if it launched. If it did, then the issue was one of the Plugins. In this case, most likely Bejo's.
-
Vari reacted to UnknownBastion in LSPDFR 0.4.8 - Now available!I agree. I've said this before and I will say it again, you can't blame LSPDFR for the decisions of Third Party Creators! It's such a shame that some people can't see that.

Vari reacted to UnknownBastion in Crash when loading LSPDFRHello,
Oh boy, have I got a lot for you, so hold on tight!
Remove the stuff in red beneath. Outdated.
Also, go into your CommandLine.txt in the Main Directory and remove everything and add -windowed and then save and exit.
Also also, do this:
How to access your Rage Settings Menu:
=> To access your RagePluginHook settings, hold Shift straight after launching RagePluginHook.
=> Alternatively, press the little silver cog icon when you see the RagePluginHook splash screen after launching.
Changing Your Plugin Timeout Threshold:
=> In the first tab of the RPH Settings, find the bar titled "Plugin Timeout Threshold" and change it to 60,000.
Hope This Helps! 🙂

Vari reacted to UnknownBastion in Help with crash during the gameHello,
That is the incorrect log. The correct one can be found in the Main Directory and is a txt file called either RagePluginHook or RagePluginHook.log. Please upload the file and not just copy and paste the text.
Thanks! 🙂

Vari reacted to UnknownBastion in New AI Firetrucks ProblemPlease screenshot the entry you made in the dispatch.meta so that I can verify you did it correctly.
Thanks! 🙂
-
Vari reacted to UnknownBastion in New AI Firetrucks ProblemIf you look in the xml for Ultimate Backup, there is a string you need that has to do with Liveries. That is what you use to add specific liveries. Its formatted just like the VehicleModels string you posted above.
