badass22 got a reaction from EddyChen11 for a file, [ELS] 1988 Chevrolet Caprice 9C1 - Los Angeles Sheriff's DepartmentHello everyone! I'm here with my pride to present one of the hardest cars to make, knowing that its supposed to replicate its real life counterpart. The car I'm going to present you is a Chevrolet Caprice 9C1 from Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. This car is a reknown piece of history for the department and also cars in general. It wasn't easy to make, or better say know to make this car. There were so few pics of it (most of them are shitty replicas spawning randomly on Google) that I had to dig in things like LASD classic recruiting videos and even the episodes from the COPS TV Series (Season 2, 1989-1990) to find actual references of this car, and make it like how it's supposed to be.
And now, I finally succeded!
F.A.Q.
Q: Why do the lights steady burn randomly?
A: It's probably an ELS thing, use a trainer to disable the extras which turn on the lights.
Q: Why are LSTG-1 and LSTG-2 the same?
A: As you know, this car is from the 80s, so don't expect to have so many patterns and be a fancy Christmas tree.
Q: Why doesn’t the car work?
A: I put a Readme in the archive. Check it out.
Enjoy!

badass22 got a reaction from Darnath for a file, [ELS] 1982 Chevrolet Impala F41 - California Highway PatrolHello everyone! I'm proud to present you the car that signs my switch from city to state department. Here is the 1982 Chevrolet Impala F41 from California Highway Patrol.
Features:
Federal Signal Aerodynic Model 24 California Spec Police equipment in the interior ELS halogen lightning setup Full carcols.ymt file integrations with coronas

F.A.Q.
Q: Why aren't the lights working?
A: In some slots the car is placed in, the light may not work due to overwriting values encountered in the carcols file.
Q: Why do the lights work only in LSTG-3?
A: This car is over 30 years old. The lightbars they mounted back then only had 2 stages. Pratically LSTG-1 and LSTG-2 are for the traffic stop (rear yellow lights flashing), and LSTG-3 is for Code 3 response (all lights working).
Q: Can I take the DEV model of this car and customize it as I wish?
A: Yes you can. But don't forget to credit the original authors of the DEV model. If you don't wanna get in trouble. Hahahaha! I'm joking but just credit them.
Hope you like it.
Enjoy!

badass22 got a reaction from Recoveryboy for a file, CHP (almost) real ELS patternsHello guys! I enjoyed Thehurk's California Highway Patrol vehicles for a long time, along with my CHP ped pack. But in these days I felt like the ELS patterns on these vehicles need a bit of rework. So I put my hand on the .xml files in order to make the lights flash like in real life. TBH this is NOT exactly accurate (due to ELS patterns limitation), but I'm sure it's pretty damn close!
I started with the 2011 Ford Crown Victoria, just to make it try to you, and then you'll leave your opinion in the comments. If you like it, I'll do it with the other vehicles too.
Hope you like it.

badass22 got a reaction from Ragnrok for a file, Department of Homeland Security EUP PackThe United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is a cabinet department of the United States federal government with responsibilities in public security, roughly comparable to the interior of home ministries of other countries. Its stated missions involve anti-terrorism, border security, immigration and customs, cyber security, and disaster prevention and management. It was created on November 25, 2002, by President George W. Bush in response to the September 11 attacks, and is also currently the youngest U.S. cabinet department.
The DHS isn't just a federal agency, it's a coalition of various agency whose duty is to protect the US soil. Two of the most known are:
- US Customs and Border Protection, that enforces U.S. laws along its international borders (air, land, and sea) including its enforcement of U.S. immigration, customs, and agriculture laws while at and patrolling between all U.S. ports-of-entry;
- US Immigration & Customs Enforcement, which has two bureaus, one that enforces U.S. laws while it investigates and gathers intelligence on national and international criminal activities that threaten the security of the homeland (Homeland Security Investigations), and one that investigates violations of the Immigration and Nationality Act, and enforces the detention, deportation, and removal of violators of United States immigration law (Enforcement and Removal Operations).
THIS IS FAMOUSLY/NOTORIOUSLY KNOWN AS TRUMP DEPORTATION FORCE.

badass22 got a reaction from OfficerEric16 for a file, Los Angeles Sheriff Department deputy for RDEHello guys! I noticed that when Realism Dispatch Enhanced came out, the LSSD deputy had a rework. So what did I do? I decided to make a rework myself to turn it in a real LASD deputy. So when you play GTA V with RDE, you'll feel like real life LASD deputies are chasing you. Or even better, when you play LSPDFR, now you can be a real LASD deputy.
PS: You can even use it without RDE, just change the name in sheriff_01.

badass22 got a reaction from Frank Murphy for a file, 1980s LAPD Car DuoEver lived the days when South Central LA was one of the most dangerous places to live? The days when LA was one of the city with the highest rate of gang shootings, drug trafficking (especially crack), and violence was part of everyday life. Not to mention the Rampart Divsion scandal and the 1992 LA riots.
It won't be so hard if you spot one of these two cars, LAPD's legendary Ford LTD Crown Vic and Chevy Caprice. Yes, it takes to spot these two cars to remember those days, especially for the ones who lived (and still live) there.
In the 1980s these were the cars LAPD used back in those days. Two timeless classic that took part to an important era in the history of Los Angeles.
NB: This is a texture pack, so what you'll get from this download are nothing but paint jobs.
If you're looking for the models, you need this:
The instructions are written in the Readme.
To locate how to install the textures in the .ytd files: 80's/retro/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles/retrovehicles.rpf
