Meta is located at mods / update / update / common / data / levels / gta 5.

I don't know about the modkit, as I've not messed with it, however for spawn colors, it depends on what you've added/edited. For example, with fbi3, all values are 000, meaning it spawns black. To the best of my knowledge, it is not possible to add in new namehashes to GTA, only modify/change them.

For an Explorer, go into the vehicles.meta, find the meta line for the slot using the Explorer, and change the handlingid to gresley. The Gresley is GTA V's version of an Explorer, so it works good. I have a topic that lists out the best handlingids for vehicles -

Go into the vehicles.meta, find the meta entry for the Explorer (whatever slot you installed it into), and look for handlingid. Change this to gresley If your Taurus is flipping, change the handling id to fugitive. I have a topic which tells you which handlingids are best for which car. Check it out -
