Why was Ultimate Backup Removed?
Here I thought putting .2 x 40 in calculator would pay off. #fuckmath I understand how frustrating it is when people up and remove their shit, and it happens a bit more than needed, imo. What it ultimately comes down to though is respect. Yes, you "can" go and give it around to friends and what not, but when the author explicitly states they do not want you to do that, you should show them the respect they have earned. They made a mod that you love and are desperate to have, so the very least you can do is adhere to their wishes and not give it away like it's candy. Personally, I'm in the same boat. If I made vehicles, I would only want people to get them from where I specifically uploaded them. Not only because it's my mod, but I want more traffic to my mod and more downloads. That brings up another point, when you pass it around to your friends, you're stealing traffic away from the official file, and you're stealing potential downloads. The download statistic might not seem important to most, but it does matter, and for some people, the number of downloads does influence whether or not they use a mod. That said, I will say I made some enemies a while back when I started shitting on mod authors who rage quit LSPDFR and went over to some reject site. I still stand by everything I have said regarding that situation. It is petty to remove your mods simply because of a larger issue that is brought on by the community, not the staff, not the website. If you're curious about it, you can PM me. Not gonna go into a big thing about it here.

Why was Ultimate Backup Removed?
I called this from day 1. I knew it was never going to see the light of day, I just didn't think it'd be because of their own team being stupid. It might be trying to live on, but 10-13 is dead in the water. They're just begging for scraps at this point. Taken from their website: aka we no longer give a fuck about our community. That SHOULD be the deal breaker that causes people to lose hope and move on, but there are still many idiots who will throw money at the dev and have hope. Having followed multiple games, I can tell you that refusing to accept feedback except for when you want it is how a game ends up with only features the developer thinks is good - which means less community suggested additions. There's a game I'm playing now that is still under heavy development (Storm Chasers), and the developer listens to the community, adds what we want, and actually cares about his game. Think about this scenario for a minute. You're a little kid who has a lemonade stand, and lemonade is 5 cents. A group of 40 people show up. One person pays for a cup of lemonade and hands the cup to a friend. Same person takes another cup and hands it to another friend. Same person takes another cup and again hands it off to a friend. and so forth until all their friends have their own cup. They all leave once they have finished, with only that one person paying. 5 cents for 40 people would've amounted to $20 (or around there, math is not my friend) You've lost money and had your merchandise stolen. Same concept as here, only a) It's free. b) You're giving it to one person, who will more than likely give it to his friend, who will give it to his friend, and so on. c) Hard work has been put into the merchandise. Something to remember is that "free" does not always mean 100% free. We can watch Youtube videos for free, but certain Youtubers won't let you take their videos and upload it to your channel. If the content isn't yours, you have no right what so ever to do anything with it except use it in your game. Authors don't care if you still have their removed mod in your game, they just don't want you giving it out to others.

Texture Loss Issues
There are some vehicle mods that are higher poly than others. Higher poly = more resources the vehicle eats up. It gets even worse if this vehicle spawns MULTIPLE times. I've discovered that if you turn the graphics setting textures to medium, you'll never have this issue. The problem with that, certain things such as the road will NOT look as good. It really comes down to deciding what is more important, looks or playability. As Malcolm said, if you have vehicles using 4k liveries, go to 2k, if possible or get a new car. 4k liveries can be a bit too much for some games. I always go 2k just because it's easier to manage, and 4k is only for perfectionists. Actually, dlcpacks don't have much of a difference. I have MULTIPLE DLCPACKS filled with add-on cars and the only time I ever have texture loss is in the city. In the county I can play for over two hours without issues. In addition, Albo's modding folder still has a set limit of cars. If you're like me and have far too many to count, they won't all fit in one dlcpack. Personally, I think people give his dlcpack far too much credit when in reality all it does is let people be a bit lazier instead of using the content that is already there to be utilized.

The Museum of Blue Lights (All blue police lighting)
Wow, stealin my customers - fuckin hoe! For future packs, if you ever want the workload lightened (even though it really doesn't take that much time), I'd be happy to do the all blues so you can just include them in the download from the start.
