  2. I don't get why people insist on doing this in general. It doesn't matter what the topic is, people always pick and choose what they like, and ignore everything else. Someone's beliefs are part of them, so yes, you do have a problem with the person. All religions have part(s) in their bible/etc name that has good and bad in it. It truly is unfortunate that some people are brainwashed to the point of "I must listen to every single word written in my religious book!", but that is only some people. You do understand that there are plenty of peaceful Muslims living everywhere, right? There's a Muslim girl by the name of Malala Yousafzai who was shot in the head by Taliban, survived, and is now an activist for females to receive education. Are you really going to condemn a little girl for her beliefs? There's a reason they are called Taliban and not just "Muslims". Everyone has a choice. Some choose to be religious radicals that are violent and some follow their religion as faithfully as possible without violence. I don't see religion ever going away, so there's no point in trying to criticize people for what they believe, especially when religion truly isn't the problem here. People are going to be violent and cruel even without it. People use religion as an easy way to blame something else.
  3. 1) Yes, but not in terms of "being on the job". 2) Yes and no. I've always had an obsession with emergency services and law enforcement. Hell, as a kid I'd roleplay the fuck out of Hot Wheels cars. Making chases, traffic stops, etc. As I got older, I made it a point to become more informed and observant of how law enforcement works. During my last two years of high school I took a law enforcement class, which really helped, then I started looking more into the online lessons of it once I graduated. I answered yes to this because being on this forum hasn't helped me learn more about American law enforcement, but it has helped teach me about foreign law enforcement.

  5. Update https://www.nytimes.com/2018/03/17/us/florida-bridge-collapse-crack.html Clearly something did present a safety concern. I find it interesting none of these professionals took notice of it. At that point, drive away as fast as possible. If someone doing the job has a face of confusion or panic, you know shit has gone wrong. Edit: Dashcam of the bridge collapse.
  6. Thanks again! Will hop shortly and verify all is good. :)
  7. If it wouldn't be an issue, it'd be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, it's not a huge deal.
  8. As greedy as they are, Rockstar knows people want the next GTA. GTA:O isn't going to last forever. 1087
  9. Not only that, PC isn't the only platform. Not only would PC only hurt Rockstar, it would hurt the gaming community. Back in the PS3/360 days I would've said "it's not a bad idea" since GTA had to be nerfed significantly for consoles, but with how powerful consoles are becoming, I don't think the PC version is being significantly reduced in quality. I'm sure there are still some capabilities being removed or decreased to cater to console, but you get my point.
  10. I see no reason it wouldn't. :P 1085.

  12. You have a point. It pretty much comes down to human stupidity and being impatient. All these people have to do is slow down and wait. They were all young once and trying to get to school. It's almost as if once you become an adult, you forget all the struggles you previously had and focus on the here and now. Kids trying to cross the street for college? Nope, my life is too important to stop and wait! If only people were decent, we wouldn't need these pedestrian bridges at all.
  13. Please remember that all these mods are provided for free, and are by volunteers. No one is getting paid for making LSPDFR, Rage, etc. We really don't owe anything to anyone, to be honest. As much as it sucks to wait, would you rather 0.4 be released now with bugs, and possibly unfinished features, or wait the extra minute and have all the features working and the huge bugs taken care of?
  14. It looks perfect! One minor thing, should these yellow lines be here?

  17. Ohhh, that looks really good! Thanks, I'll hop in after I eat and give it a look. :)
  18. Try Simple Trainer. It has an (in my opinion) better listing of all GTA's playable peds. This topic has been moved to the appropriate forum. Please post in the correct location in the future.
