  1. Guys? Please? I tried re-installing .NET 4.0, it didn't help. Is it the advanced hook that I'm using?
  2. No one's here to help? :(
  3. Hi. I am trying to use Indicator Script with GTA IV 1.0.3.0, but it never launches. Log: 2016-02-14 15:50:33 - Initializing ScriptHookDotNet v0.893 BETA (GTA IV version 1.0.3.0) 2016-02-14 15:51:25 - Direct3D device created! 2016-02-14 15:51:26 - SEARCHING FOR SCRIPTS... 2016-02-14 15:51:26 - Loading scripts in Assembly 'scripts\indicator.net.dll' ... 2016-02-14 15:51:26 - ...found script 'indicatorClass'! 2016-02-14 15:51:26 - DONE! 1 valid scripts found! 2016-02-14 15:51:26 - STARTING SCRIPTS... 2016-02-14 15:51:26 - Error in constructor of script 'indicatorClass': System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Windows.Forms, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' or one of its dependencies. To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1. 4. It claims that internet connection is available. At this point I have no idea.
  5. That is extremely weird. For some reason it tries to connect to the server, try turning off your internet (on the computer, not the router) before launching the game, see if that works.
  6. I have a feeling that I'm missing an important dependency, here's the list of things I have installed atm: DirectX 9 Visual Studio 2003-2015 Visual Basic Runtime 5.0, 6.0 sp6 .NET Framework 2.0, 2.0 sp 1, 3.0 sp1, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 MSXML Core Services 3.0 Do I really need anything else here?
  7. Make sure to install Visual Studio 2010 and 2012, as-well as .NET Framework 4.5.
  8. It's 2016 and the problem is still persistent. Anyone, please help!
  9. It's the same exact error.. this is extremely weird. Since my installation doesn't even get that far before it crashes, I can't mimic the error to find out the cause. My best suggestion is to re-install LCPDFR 1.1 with the Manual Install instead of Automatic. See if that works.
  10. It's in the main game directory. Actually I think your problem is due to the file missing. I attached the file, try placing it and tell me if it works. LCPDFR.Networking.dll
  11. Ok, looks like regardless of the LCPDFR.ini setting, the thing still tries to connect to the LCPDFR server. It can't because syncing stats was disabled when LSPDFR was released. I think the most appropriate solution here would be to remove LCPDFR.Networking.dll, not sure if that will help or make the matter worse. After you test run with it removed, please attach the log again if it doesn't work.
  12. Ah. Then that has nothing to do with LCPDFR, that fault is a separate thing probably not related to this mod. EDIT: also, could you please send the LCPDFR.log again, after you disabled the networking thing?
  13. Wait, so if you get the same error then how can you even participate in a chase? Doesn't the LCPDFR.loader.loader error completely disable LCPDFR functionality?
  14. LCPDFR.ini file, this tab right here: [Networking] APIKey= ServicesEnabled=True Change ServicesEnabled=True to False.
  15. Wrong branch, you're supposed to be in LSPDFR support.
  16. Please give us the logs. I know the log is weird, but you may have the same problem as me. We need: LCPDFR.log ScriptHook.log ScriptHookDotNet.log AdvancedHook.log
  17. Make sure .NET Framework 4.5 is installed. You seem to have 4.5.1, but not 4.5. It needs 4.5 to function.
  18. Seems to be a networking problem to me; try disabling stats sync with LCPDFR.
  19. List of things I just tried: PreloadAllModels=True in LCPDFR.ini Replaced AdvancedHook.dll Set VehicleTrunkWeapons to nothing; nothing after equal sign. LCPDFR.log in result: [INFO - 3:01:30 PM] [Log] Started [INFO - 3:01:30 PM] [Main] Main: Initializing... [INFO - 3:01:30 PM] [Main] Main: LCPDFR Engine (C) 2011-2013 LMS [INFO - 3:01:30 PM] [Main] Main: DO NOT USE THIS WITHOUT PERMISSION. YOU MAY NOT SHARE, MODIFY OR DECOMPILE THIS FILE. 20. Let me expand, then: Legit copy of GTA IV 1.0.7.0; xLive.dll; all necessary files are present. LCPDFR 1.1, all dependencies are present (DotNet 4.5 and below, Visual Studio 2003 - 2015 (all of them), DirectX 9). Indicator Script and the Mechanic Mod. Below are the rest of the logs, problem described in first two posts. AdvancedHook.log LCPDFR.log ScriptHook.log ScriptHookDotNet.log
  21. UPDATE: manually installed the taser. That didn't solve the problem. The problem is with the loader I think, because as soon as the game loads, a message pops up saying that LCPDFR.Loader.Loader experienced a fatal error and needs to close, don't remember the exact wording. Same log as before.
