Hey there guys, hows it goin? For me its going, kinda ok haha. Anyways, Ive created this thread because Im looking for a community within LSPDFR to kinda get the hang of things. Controls, hotkeys, what mods are cool to use and exactly how to get some of my mods to work, and how to identify what mods I need to manually load in game, load from the launcher and so on. So almost everything. So Far I have a working LSPDFR, but feel its kinda dry by itself, as awesome as it is anyways, without some extra mods, cool cars, and custom skins. As far as my specific needs right now, I need to understand why the skins Ive replaced with OPEN IV in file x64e.rpf>Models>cdimages>componentpeds_s_m_y.rpf> ---- Arent working. I dragged and dropped the LSPD_SWAT_0.1.1 skins from the mod here on the website, but when I go in game I cannot for the love of me get them to work. I choose swat and the skin comes up as the basic old boring swat outfit from the vanilla game. So again, my question is how to get these to work, and why they arent working now? I hope you guys have a good day, and look forward to your replies! If you read this and know the trick to getting the skins to work please inform me! Update #1: I made sure the mod folder in OpenIV was where I made the changes, AND in the x64e.rpf original folder. Still no luck. I load the game, select noose for my on duty calls, and it's still only showing the Operator outfit selection. I went into the agency.xml and I don't know what to do in there. Someone mentioned it before but I can't find anything specific on it. Update #2: Someone said to go into DLC patches on a different post, but it was a completely different cop/ped file that I don't think is relevant. For models.
