Does anyone know how to change the police peds in LSPDFR 0.4?? 

 

I've tried all the usual ways and spent ages trying to get it to work but for some reason it won't change the originals in the game. Does anyone know how to do this??

there are 2 types of police peds in LSPDFR 0.4

• native ped model (e.g. s_m_y_cop_01, s_m_y_sheriff_01, etc.). if you want to replace this native model, just use openIV mods folder and you can find tons of "character" mods in this site to download and install
• multiplayer freemode ped model. to customize this model, you'll need EUP pack installed and have the LSPDFR data xml files edited to change outfits, etc.

Excellent thanks. I have the downloaded files for police peds but i don't know how to replace them in the game for normal cops and backup. It doesn't seem to be the same as LSPDFR. Do you know how to do it or where to install the files?

you would need OpenIV to do that.

you'll just browse around the "Characters" download list and the pick one.

there's a readme file in the package which will tell you where you can put the mod file on.

I've been using OpenIV for all my other mods. Everything else works fine but the police smy ped files dont seem to work like they did in lspdfr 0.3. When i install them they dont work in game. I'm wondering I'd theres a different method in 0.4 of installing.

i think LSPDFR 0.4 now fully spawns mp freemode model for all their cops by default.

you have to make modification on the xml files to spawn smy cop models.

How do you do that because the modified peds you can download are only smy cop files?
