    • Version 2.3S-DLS
An unmarked 2018 Dodge Charger Pursuit with a FS Spectralux and a CN SignalMaster, based on the Chargers used by the LAPD. A non-ELS vehicle featuring optional DLS support for light stages, traffic advisor patterns and a custom UI. Vehicle Slot: police4 (Replace) or lspdunm (AddOn) Lighting Equipment: Federal Signal Spectralux ILS and CN SignalMaster DLS Support: DLS 1.4 (optional) Multiple Liveries: Supported, but not included Notes This mod supports DLS (Dynamic Lighting System) for realistic light stages, siren controls and more. DLS is optional, this car functions as a non-ELS car without DLS. When using DLS, make sure to install AdvancedHookV and activate the PatchExtras option in your DLS.ini. Otherwise, the car will always be repaired when switching to light stage 1. Recommended mods: Better License Plates or Better License Plates - California Federal Signal SS2000 SmartSiren SirenSetting Limit Adjuster (minimizes the risk of sirensetting ID conflicts with other mods) Installation Includes Add-On and Replace versions. Installation with Lenny's Mod Loader (LML) is recommended. Refer to the included readme.pdf for detailed instructions. Terms of use You may replace or edit textures for personal use and create and redistribute liveries of your own using the provided template. 2. The 2016 FPIU is currently in progress: https://www.lcpdfr.com/gallery/image/128737-wip-2016-fpiu-lspdlapd-unmarked/
  3. To use addon cars, you'll need a modified gameconfig.xml to increase the number of vehicle slots. You can find one here: https://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/gta5mods/misc/24718-gameconfigxml-for-lml/
  4. police4 for the Replace version and policeunm2 for the Add-on version.
  5. I've been planning to make the LAPD SWAT Suburban for a while now, but it requires a lot of work. I can't guarantee that I'll ever start working on it, and if I do, it would most likely take a very long time until it's finished.
  6. Sure, I'll try to figure out if it's possible to allow users to choose between replace and addon in LML, otherwise I'll upload a separate version. Not yet, but I plan to add an optional version for the Charger with the spotlights and partition as extras when they're ready, which is likely going to take at least a few more weeks.

  8. I have noticed that, but since people might forget about the ELS file if they just add the folder to LML, I thought I'd just make sure to mention it. However, using an empty resource group may indeed not be the best way to do that, it probably would've been better to only mention it in the readme. By the way, incredible work with LML, it makes everything so much easier.
  9. It is possible, just a little texture change and changing the color of the environment lights. I've uploaded the textures and the ELS VCF for all blue and all red here: https://www.modding-forum.com/forums/thread/299-2018-dodge-charger-unmarked-lspd-lapd-metro-division/?postID=1292#post1292
  10. As I'm getting more and more questions about other LAPD-inspired cars, in particular the FPI and FPIU: I can't promise anything. I'm currently working on a different project, but I might consider it in the future, depending on my motivation and if I have access to good base models. Most likely no. I personally prefer using ELS.
  11. Thanks for the info, I'll change that, I didn't really keep stage 2 in mind for that light. I originally intended to line them up with the flashing lights at stage 3, but since that's not possible anyway, hence the blue corona being on top of the steady burn, I should've changed the red one as well. I might not release an updated version immediately for a minor issue like that, though.
  12. If it's only the traffic advisor in the rear window, you'll need to install the included vehicles.meta settings to decrease the tint. If it's all emissives, you'll need to install a graphics mod that increases the brightness, since all ELS emissives will look dim with the default graphics. There's a visualsettings.dat included with the mod, please take a look at the readme for more info. They are slightly orange indeed, similar to the real Charger, but now that I'm looking at it again, I agree that it might be a bit too much. If I'll have to release any other updates to the car, I'll update that texture as well to make it a bit less orange.
  13. Most likely at some point. LAPD's unmarked cars don't have spotlights. Good catch, it can be fixed in the ELS vehicle config, the value for OffsetY of extras 1 - 4 needs to be positive. I'll upload an updated file later with precise values.
