Hey guys I am currently having a problem with my guns not working. I can replace the files but the game still uses the default weapons. Can someone please help me. (I have tried reinstalling them and It still doesn't work)

Hello, I was recently trying to change out a few of my default gta 5 police cars and whenever I would try and change one then load my game it would always bring up a downloading screen and I would go back into openiv and check what the problem was. well is turns out that when I try to modify any car my game files will be corrupted or something of that nature. Anyone have any idea of why that is if so could you please post a response.
