The most important part when building a new PC is the CPU/Motherboard. This part is the hardest and least like part you will upgrade in the future. You say you have a 1000 bucks to spend I advice you to buy the following parts. I have replaced police3, Police4 and policew. However I am having difficulties with the handling has I can only find the handling line for police4. How do I edit the handling for police3 and policew? Edit: I just added the lines police3 and policew and that seems to work.

The radiance mod timecycle did the trick for the lights. and by editing the ini file the reflection on the surrounding are now the correct color. Thanks for all the help.

Did some more testing. There is no direct light source from the lights itself only a flashing white texture. It should be blue or red. There is a red reflection on buildings however but no blue reflection even when using a blue only lights car (Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 K9-unit) .

No only in the common data not in the TBOGT data as the file size is different. Do i need to replace it in both locations?

I have tried to install ELS v5 and v6 and they all give me the same result. White blinking textures I cant call it lights as there is no radiance. Can somebody please help? If I don't install the visualsettings.dat included with ELS I see red and blue blinking textures. The visual difference between light on and of is the blinking or not blinking of the texture. The pop up window where you can see/select what light mode you are running does appear, so the mod is installed. I have installed the hardcore version of the game. The problem I have with it is that when I am not playing LCPDFR hardcore mode is still active. This means when i get shot i stumble and I die much faster. My question; Is there a way to turn of Hardcore mode when not playing LCPDFR?

I always drive to nearest police station and the area I patrol varies. I recently tried hardcore and it has really increased the fun. Especially in car chases when you have lost sight and are just following the AI cars. Responding to call outs is not a priority. Domestic violence has gone rampant and most of the time I cant be bothered. The car i use at the moment is the Caprice. Still looking for a 1968 Ford Galaxy 500. I don't use ELS as my game tends to crash a lot more frequent with it enabled. My weapon of choice is the 44 magnum. Other mods I use are texture and graphic mods; HD roads by DKT70, Inject MSAA by mrhaandi, Reality IV 1.62,a Trees mod and all of ZBNYNC's Reality Mods. I am definatly going to try out the crime city script as it sounds like a lot of fun.
