So i make a callout pack called On the beat Callouts. i have updated it recently and its been filed for manual security checks due to executable code in my pack. I however have no idea what code is making this happen as others with more complex codes seem to be getting their packs checked way before mine, i uploaded my file about 18hours ago and its still not been checked. Its really hurting my download count and availability of my mod in general. The things i have in my mod is other peoples API's, albo's code for checking lspdfr and computer plus version but i am not collecting any data nor am i doing actual version checks to whats available online, that i know of. Just need some advice to help me understand why my files have such a long check time while other packs are sailing through the checks and are released within the hour of them updating.

Check out Albo's "Using Albos API's" tutorial, walks you though using wrapperclasses to reference code people may not have and use if statements to use it for those that do. Your pack seems to be along the same lines as mine, good to see others going for the smaller scale callouts instead of the hollywood movie style callouts all the time.

Spawning Peds at target location using Coordinates
SyeDog replied to SyeDog's topic in API Development
Thanks for that! So if i was wanting a variable of SpawnPoint to be used later i could use private Vector3 SpawnPoint; Ped Suspect = new Ped(new Vector3(1, 1, 1), 7); //spawning a new ped called Suspect at 1,1,1 with heading 7 SpawnPoint = Suspect.Position; //Setting the spawnpoint location to the position of spawned ped Correct or totally wrong? -
Hello all, i am having troubles finding the information i need through google searches and looking through open source code. I am trying to spawn a ped at a certain location on the map for a callout i have the x,y,z and heading but cannot seem to work out how to spawn the ped at the location. There were some forum posts talking about a SpawnPoint method but i cannot for the life of me work out how to access it if it exists or how to make one. Does anyone have any idea on how to do this using C# as it will be fundermental in my callouts when setting up scenes ect. Thank you for any and all information, even suggestions on what to search for will be very useful. Cheers

I understand peoples frustration with Pursuit callouts but its what documentation on how to make a callout shows you how to make. So its a good starting point. As for your list of good callouts that will be invaluable to help with the development of my callout pack, i am sure you dont, but would you mind if i used some of those idea's. Surely it would only make you happy...

I feel you, pursuits are all i seem to get into as well which is why i am trying to make this pack. I understand that currently the only call i have at the moment is a pursuit, granted. It boils down to a very small pool of information on how to make callouts when starting out, following tutorials you learn to make pursuits first which is i guess why there are so many packs out there with them. Ultimately it is my goal to be making more foot patrol callouts that the front line officers of the world are more used to. I am nearing the end of developing another callout today and should be releasing an updated version by tonight.

As far as my testing has gone so far, its crash free and working with the one call out, i have tested it myself a number of times. As for the other callouts i am currently making, i have a few bugs before i can release them. But optimistically shouldn't be long until i work them out. Only been doing this for 2 days now haha. That was my initial goal, when uploading the first time i forgot to do so and am waiting for the update to make the the rar and the file structure for easy install. Thank you, ever message that i get really helps to boost morale and push through the learning curve i am facing. Those callouts do sound intresting but currently abit out of my league i fear. Hopefully in the future i can make something that reaches that standard.

It is only one callout currently, but i am currently working on another as we speak. Also got the computerplus mode integration working so will be updating soon. Thanks for the words of encouragement. Will keep me going and adding more. As for your question, the dll file will work on its own, if you want you can download the pdb file to help with debugging and error collection, if you get a crash. I think thats how that works at least.

[SOLVED]Integration of ComputerPlus into my Callouts
SyeDog replied to SyeDog's topic in API Development
Thank you so much, i think i have my head around it now, so what you are saying is where they said put it in a easierly accessable method, they mean make a new class and call it Function which i can then access using computerPlusRunning = Function.IsLSPDFRPluginRunning("ComputerPlus", new Version("1.3.0.0")); If you could just confirm that, that would be super. Thanks a bunch for the quick reply. -
I have been trying to develop a Callouts pack for the last few days, i have managed to create a pursuit and have it all handled by LSPDFR which i am currently really proud of, now i have set my sights to integrating my callouts with ComputerPlus, the computer modification for LSPDFR. I have read the documentation, set up my files the same as others have done such as Albo1125 in his open source documents but i am unable to get it to work, i have run into the error that Function is inaccessible due to its protection level. I have tried to access Function can it brings me to an empty function class called Function in ComputerPlus but i am unable to edit it from internal to public or anything. computerPlusRunning = Function.IsLSPDFRPluginRunning("ComputerPlus", new Version("1.3.0.0")); ComputerPlusFuncs works without error such as the following code public override void OnCalloutDisplayed() { if (computerPlusRunning) { ComputerPlusFuncs.UpdateCalloutStatus(callID, (int)ECallStatus.Dispatched); } base.OnCalloutDisplayed(); } Any and all advice would be really appreciated, i am very very new to c# and this has caused me to grind to a halt.

Version 1.0.7.1
50,196 downloads
On the beat Callouts is my first Callout Pack and my first GTA V Plugin is general. Designed around standard, low to medium severity Callouts. My aim is to develop the Callout Pack to fill in the gaps where other packs do not, giving you a more rounded and realistic feel to the patrol you are on. Whats included in the pack so far: Local Stolen Vehicle - Pursuit of a stolen vehicle in your local area Drunken Disorderly - Possible intoxication on the streets of San Andreas You will find a variety of people out on the streets, drinking a bit too much Once you have stopped the suspect and are close enough, press Y to interact with the subject Highly recommend StopThePed for additional interactions with suspect Graffiti Call - 4 possible options for this call, respond in the mirror park area Has 4 different options depending on a dice roll, make sure you check all 4 out to mix up your patrol Unfortunately only has one location but will be adding more locations when i can Animated and props to add realism to the callout Suspicious Vehicle - with three slight variations to the callout. Eagle eyed officers will hopefully tell the difference. Laser Pointer discharged at aircraft - this call can play out in a few ways, subtle differences but adds variety. Has its own RageNativeUI Menu. Press (Default Y) the Speech button to interact with the suspect Added immersive subtitles to fill you in with the situation as you approach Planned for development: Integration with LSPDFR+ by @Albo1125 Add custom inventories using the new 0.4.2 API Continue to add RageNativeUI menu's into callouts in my Menu Pass Patches Public Disturbance - Possible suspect disturbing the peace at location Suspicious Behavior around locations in San Andreas Shop lifting from store / petrol station Car Crash without incident Various Anti Social Behavior incidents Adding animations and other props to add realism to the callouts More... INSTALLATION: Drag and drop files into your \Grand Theft Auto V\plugins\LSPDFR folder Please Read the README included in the download Don't forget to adjust your ini file when installing / upgrading this callout pack. Recommended Mods: For the best experience i recommend downloading and installing the following mods which help expand the experience of my callouts Computer+ (ComputerPlus) by @PieRGud version 1.3.0.0 or higher //// For computer interactions with callout logging and information about callout progress Traffic Policer by @Albo1125 version 6.15.0.0 or higher //// Helps with traffic related interactions StopThePed by @BejoIjo version 4.6.5.0 or higher //// Allows more interactions with stopping and processing peds during the callouts. Adds ability to call taxi's or other support vehicles for peds during callouts Adds the ability to process alcohol levels and intoxication of peds during callout Police SmartRadio by @Albo1125 version 1.2.0.0 or higher //// Adds a quick and easy way to select options for callouts and adds functionality from other mods to enhance my own Dependencies: RAGE Plugin Hook - Open Alpha - 0.64.1234.15464 or higher -
Hey everyone, After being inspired by the other channels on the youtubes of people playing through the LSPDFR mod i thought i would take up the gauntlet, now i do not pretend to be the best, i have recently bought a new mic and cannot for the life of me get my audio levels right yet. But i do need feedback, sooooo.... i have placed the video below, please comment with improvements and like the video if you do. I also promise to you with your support and feedback i can make a huge improvement to my work, but i hope this is a good starting point, thanks to those who take the time to watch!
