LSPDFR & RAGE Plugin Hook Enhanced and Upcoming Site Upgrades
We're excited to share the latest updates on projects bringing LSPDFR and RAGE Plugin Hook to GTA 5 Enhanced Edition alongside refreshing our entire website - with new features, a new design and a more fluid experience.
LSPDFR & RAGE Plugin Hook Enhanced
With the recent release of Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced Edition @LMS has been working on porting RAGE Plugin Hook. While still in its early development stages, RPH is now successfully running on the Enhanced Edition with most of the basic features working, including running small plugins and DX12 rendering. In addition, our biggest LSPDFR update ever is currently in closed-beta testing and we hope to have more news on it soon.
Below are some screenshots of these previously console-only vehicles being spawned through RPH in the Enhanced Edition.

RPH on Apple Silicon
As part of the port to the Enhanced version and DX12 support, we have streamlined some core systems, now allowing RPH and LSPDFR to run on Apple Silicon. We're still addressing performance issues and visibility concerns before considering a potential future patch.

Website Platform Update and Invision Community 5
We're in the early stages of migrating from Invision Community 4 to 5, which will transform our entire platform.
This update combines rewrites of Invision Community core features with rewrites of our own software to provide users with a faster and cleaner experience. Community members will enjoy a fresh design and responsive theme that follows your OS dark mode decision. On top of this, substantial effort across the board has been made to fix performance issues.
Most of the changes to our new platform are behind the scenes, but the most visible improvement you'll see, apart from the general design change, is the new editor. This new editor comes with many improvements and is easy to use. It also introduces some new features, like Content Boxes, that will make structuring mod download pages a little bit better.
We hope to provide further updates over the coming weeks and months as we prepare this for release.

11john11 got a reaction from Lozano71 in The Mind-Boggling Classic Cop Car ThreadJust wanted to share some interesting photos of unusual or rarely photographed LA emergency vehicles I found while researching Los Angeles emergency vehicles from the mid-80s to early 90s ( for a project I'm currently working on).
Maybe some of them got already posted here, I don't know

11john11 reacted to neversober81 in LSPDFR 0.5.0@CyanI think adding some of the core Ultimate Backup and Stop The Ped features to LSPDFR would be a good idea. I think that result of the way the plugins have been managed, and now not updated for over a year, dependency on UB and STP isn't good.
I think the most important features that should be a part of LSPDFR are having backup stick around a scene until you're finished, having some basic form of ped interaction menu and having an LSPDFR equivalent of the STP context menu.
With having backup stick around, obviously there should be a way to dismiss individual units or all the units, but I think that the LSPDFR team would be able to come up with some good ideas for how backup should respond to the player and the situation while on scene, basically having backup responding more dynamically to their environment, and not just standing there and copying the player's every move. As regards backup, I also agree with @Deputy kei's suggestion for ambient and backup K9 units.
Secondly, with a basic form of ped interaction menu, I envisage all the features that base LSPDFR allows when interacting with a ped to just be incorporated into a simple menu. I don't think that having every last feature that STP offers be incorporated into base LSPDFR is necessary, I think that an API (or something, idk code) that easily allows the community to add different features to this menu would be a better idea.
Thirdly, I think an LSPDFR equivalent of the context menu (i.e. a scene menu) would be a good idea, if you were to incorporate key UB/ STP features into LSPDFR. It could possibly even be under the same keybind as the ped interaction menu, with a selection at the top for 'Ped Interaction' or 'Scene'. Key features of such a menu would be the ability to call a towtruck and call a coroner. It would be good as well to have any service be able to be customised in a data file. Again, I think that including the minimum amount of features that is necessary for decent gameplay would be enough, with the community being able to add extra features that they would like to see.
Finally, thank you to the all LSPDFR team for all your hard work developing LSPDFR and keeping it up to date, and maintaining this website. Thank you also for taking the time to read my message!

11john11 reacted to LMS in More dramatic PulloversYou will be thrilled to know that the 0.4.8 update last night introduced a new variable called TrafficStop.ScenarioMult (default value: 1.0f) which can be used to increase the chance for a random scenario during a traffic stop.

11john11 reacted to Sheriff Mike Chapman in Stop the Ped vs Arrest ManagerUse stop the ped and all other bejoijo plugins, they perform way better than all of albo's in my opinion. Plus he isnt really updating them anymore whereas bejoijo is constantly updating.

11john11 reacted to Chris_clarke92 in LSPDFR 0.4.7 - Now Available!Hi, I have a suggestion/question. Is it possible for more aggressive armed supect chases? I remember in previous versions in an armed chase the suspects would shoot at you out their windows. In the current ones they seem to give up quite easily after being pulled over. Also backup units seem to drop out of chases if they are too long and they have to be re-called again, I don't know if this is an LSPDFR issue or a plugin issue. Also one other thing I liked in previous versions, when you got a call and you're close to another unit they would automatically respond to the same call. What's a bit frustrating now is when you get a call you're the only one to respond even if the crime happens in front of another officer.
Thanks

11john11 reacted to UnknownBastion in LSPDFR 0.4.7 - Now Available!siiiigh This isn't a bad update at all. It was the decision of the third party developer to have UB and STP function with the version of LSPDFR running at the time (0.4.6). This issue has nothing to do with LSPDFR in the slightest.
Again, I respect Bejo's decision to do what he did. And again, I just don't like people blaming the LSPDFR Devs for something the can't control.
You can no longer obtain 0.4.6 in any way. This is against the rules I believe.

11john11 reacted to UnknownBastion in LSPDFR 0.4.7 - Now Available!I still don't understand why people complain to LSPDFR about the actions and decisions of a third party plugin developer.
(This is in no way anything bad against BejoIjo, as I believe he has the right to implement anything he wants. I just think it is completely dumb to complain to the LSPDFR Devs over something they have no control over.)

11john11 reacted to The Loot in LSPDFR 0.4.7 - Now Available!Even SWAT officers with rifles barely shoot during pursuits.
It's most obvious when in cover: usually they pop out and then back in without firing most times, and never really more than once if they do.
Well, not just in cover. Watching a SWAT team stand in the open not returning fire is also obvious.
The only real time they shoot is when they get knocked down on the ground.
