Before RON Alternates moved in, Palmer-Taylor Power Station was Los Santos County's biggest supplier of electricity, and also, the county's biggest producer of pollution, before being locked into a pollution war with the Chinese in the 2010s. Workers, although putting their health in great risk due to the condition, toil through the night to keep the city's lights on, and go home in the day to their struggling wives and families.
 
Man, my reflections are nasty - maybe I need to bump them up a little.

A new project I'm working on - it would be out tomorrow (or something like that), if it weren't for the crest placement. Yeah, we're going old-school PS2-style LSPD now - I've got SFPD and LVPD liveries cooking up, too. Just need to sort out the Premier, and we're set.
 
Ooh, you know what would be nice? A GTA SA siren to go with this.

Chariot of the Grove Street Families - and their splinter groups, too - the 1986 Schyster Greenwood is claimed to be twice as likely to be stopped by the LSPD than any other car in Los Santos.
 
I've got screenshotting stuff, now! Expect more while I replace more vehicles.

While the Grove Street Families were pushed out from their titular street, almost completely leaderless, the Ballas moved in. CRASH were still doing the rounds then, contributing to fill in the power vacuum down the street, and make money from corrupt acts.
 
Big shout to 11John11 for the Merit Classic - a car that I eagerly awaited, and a car I didn't think I would get.

Remember all those times I moped around saying that I couldn't play GTA V? Well, as of earlier this morning, I now have a working - and moddable - copy of GTA V on Steam!
 
Now I have realised a few issues - my computer, which I bought specifically to handle GTA V at it's best nearly two years ago, can't run GTA V at top spec. Unfortunately, that means my screenshots aren't going to come out the best. But that's the best I can do at around about £700 worth of computer.
 
Also, I've got no mods installed. I'm working on that - I'm taking GTA V all the way back to lore-friendly 1992. I've just got to get some good mods together - anyone got a list of lore-friendly civ cars I can add in?
 
And also, I haven't really got my screenshot funk on yet. I'm working on getting screenshots properly set up, but I need to get used to these new key bindings. And also, I need to swap out the trainer for the Menyoo trainer. And don't worry, I'm not stepping foot into multiplayer.
 
I'm not abandoning GTA IV, though, I've still got stuff to do there. So stick around for a bit - it's going to be a while before I properly get going for GTA V.

Ah, now let's get serious. I've got an ambulance and a police car installed. Let's get to it!
 
South Los Santos, 1992. The Ballas have taken over Grove Street, and the main players of the Grove Street Families are either exiled, dead or missing. Gang violence and class divides are rife across the city. And the LSPD? Corrupt. It's only a hair-trigger away from a riot...

An Alderney State Police officer waits for a breakdown team to arrive on the Plumber's Skyway, where one unlucky driver broke down in the middle of the road, finding himself both unable to move and ticking off the temper of the state troopers along the Skyway. Traffic backed up along that road for quite some distance due to the breakdown, delaying the truck even more.

Okay, it's not really a project. It's nearly finished, I've just got to get permissions issues out of the way, if possible. Also, yes, the door handles aren't cut away. I really don't want to do those - they're a right old pain.
 
And here, we have a New Liberty State Police Premier in the fog. I'm planning on putting this out, eventually, and maybe also putting out an Aldenrey State Police Premier, too. If only Abraxas was still around to make these types of liveries...

Okay, its a bit of a divergence from the current theme, but everything has to stop. The Merit Classic by GCT is out! Prepare to see this in fleet form very soon!
 
Here, at the LCPD Workshops in Algonquin, multiple 1983 Declasse Merit Classics were seen parked up in the lot, ready for their police conversion. Following an evaluation upstate, the Commissioner guaranteed that this would be a huge hit with police forces across the United States.

Another couple of practice cars: Old 1980s style Los Santos Police Department Impala's ft. a Jetsonic light bar and a modified Aerodynamic.
 
Thought I'd see the best way to adapt my DRO2 knowledge to some older style light bars. It's getting there.

Even driving a little too fast can cause a serious accident in the snow. Here, two LCPD officers narrowly escaped death when their Premier RMP slipped onto some ice, flipped, and fell over on the Broker-Dukes Expressway. While the car was totalled, the two officers were glad to have escaped with their lives, and got out of CHMC a few weeks later.
 
Following this accident, a road safety awareness campaign was set up in Liberty City. While it may not look like it, it is still going strong today.
