It's because RagePlugin launches the game through Steam and Steam ONLY looks for the folder Grand Theft Auto V. The only way to use this method you are trying is with Symbolic links but it's a little complicated. The other way is constantly renaming your GTA V folders to the correct name. (e.g. renaming your modded copy of GTA to Grand Theft Auto V when you want to use that folder and changing your UN-modded folder to Grand Theft Auto V-Vanilla) I would personally recommend just having one copy of GTA and using that. It's pretty easy to remove LSPDFR and it's files.

Your log says it's loading the path file D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V but your screenshot shows the directory Grand Theft Auto V-Modded. Is this the problem? It might be launching the wrong version (copy) of GTA.

For now yes, I don't believe anyone knows a fix for this. I'm not certain why it works this way and not normally. You can try: right clicking RAGEPluginHook.exe and going to properties then click the Security tab click Users (PCNAME/Users) click Edit... tick the option "Full Control" under Allow click Ok. Attempt to launch Ragepluginhook like normal

@Toaster.OGT RageNativeUI.dll shouldn't be in the plugins folder put it in the base GTA V folder albo1125.common.dll shouldn't be in the plugins folder put it in the base GTA V folder The Police Scanner folder is no longer used since 0.4 they should be in audio/scanner. If they are old files delete them.

So a total of 4 people have been unable to launch LSPDFR 0.4.1 with this build. It's definitely a possibility. It appears that everyone has had slightly different issues each time though, so still could be a coincidence. I believe 17134 is a popular build number to be on.

I have seen a number of people in support crashing while using the specific Windows version 17134. I want to double check if anyone is running this version and has actually got LSPDFR running, to see if it's just a coincidence or not. If you want to check your build number, just type "winver" into the search bar and it will look like for example: Version 1803 (OS Build 17134)

try forcing DirectX 11 in the rage settings (same place as forced windowed) --- I could be incorrect but i have seen a total of 3 people unable to play LSPDFR 0.4.1 on the windows build 17134 successfully. I will see if that is the issue. For reference the latest windows 10 build is 17763

Can you try going into your Norton settings and excluding the entire GTA V folder? Try running the RagePlugin as administrator. Try running the game in windowed mode using the method I posted above ------------------- Not that I am aware of.

I would personally recommend uninstalling Arrest manager and using Stop The Ped, it has (almost) exactly identical options and was built for 0.4. (it also hooks into police smartradio) I haven't used arrest manager so it might be causing crashes. I'm not certain how stable it is on 0.4

Launch RagePluginHook and click settings, go to game settings and tick "force windowed mode". See if that helps.

This happens on my PC with EVERY log file, the directories are written backwards, I have no clue whats happening. I assume it's a Windows 10 bug. It seems like some of the text goes invisible or something? Highlighting specific parts fixes that line of text. Really weird. Happens on notepad and notepad++

Do you have an anti-virus such as Avast or AVG? Can you link the RagePluginHook.log in the base GTA V folder.

This log also seems to say that it is trying to spawn police5 (a mod vehicle) and is crashing the game. You either installed the new car incorrectly the car mod is corrupt / outdated Personally I would recommend removing custom file mods (hopefully you installed them all in the "mods" folder) and starting again. You can try installing a different car under the police5 name to see if that fixes it.

You game isn't working because of this: -enableCounterMeasuresAgainstOnlineVehicleRemoval You need to turn it off in the Rage plugin settings, under the advanced tab.

Most people use EUP I believe. It allows for total customisation. I don't think it's possible without getting an extra plugin.

Can you link me the RagePluginHook.log (it's the second file underneath RagePluginHook.exe)
