Dashcam V is a RageHook plugin that simulates emergency vehicle dashcams used in real life.
Note: An unfortunate downside to the method of centering the camera is that you cannot freely rotate it. In terms of immersion, however, it makes sense because most dashcams do not rotate. In light of this, the dashcam no longer replaces the first person vehicle view, so you can use it whenever you desire.

- Remote view: view your vehicle's dashcam while on foot by pressing Ctrl + E or the Left Thumbstick + Left Shoulder

    - Unit number/name
    - Department name/colour/logo
    - Imperial/metric
    - Date format
    - Layout style
    - Remote view controls (both gamepad and keyboard)

Installation
1. Download & install the latest RagePluginHook from http://ragepluginhook.net/Downloads.aspx if you haven't already.
2. Pick a folder. If you like the vanilla agencies, pick lore-friendly. Otherwise, pick real agencies.
3. Drag & drop "DashcamV.dll" and "DashcamV.ini" into the Plugins folder of your GTA V directory.
4. Using OpenIV, place the logos.ytd in update\update.rpf\x64\textures\script_txds.rpf (use your mods folder if you have it).
Find and open the file "startup.rphs". Once you open the file, start a new line and put the following...
LoadPlugin "DashcamV.dll"
This will make the modification automatically load when you start the game. If you do not want the modification to automatically load, launch the game and press F4. Once you see a panel, put in what you see above.
Known Bugs
- When entering a vehicle that you left on dashcam view, your view will reset

Features
Ability to search for persons and vehicles without keys conflicting with other mods. Ability to request backup using a nice looking interface. Uses the LSPDFR API to get ped and vehicle information. Also includes info left out of the regular LSPDFR police computer, like times stopped, number of citations, and a vehicle's stolen status. Uses the Traffic Policer API (if it is installed) to also show a vehicle's insurance information. Search fields are automatically filled out with the subject's information during a traffic stop, so all you have to do is press a button! Dynamic backgrounds! Depending on which police vehicle you're in, you'll get a specialized department background. Comes with RDE support. Looks practically identical to the LCPDFR computer (in terms of the layout). Active Calls screen, which shows all callouts sent by Dispatch, even the ones that AI units respond to! (Must have participating callout plugins installed for this to work) Computer+ has its own API, for callout developers to use!! Computer+ will automatically add LSPDFR+ court case when you create an arrest report. (LSPDFR+ by @Albo1125 is required). Computer+ now have ability to create citation for stopped ped on foot. After stopping a ped (by holding E key) or using "Stop The Ped", you may open Computer+ and create a citation for the ped. Make sure you have the latest "CitationDefinitions.xml" in place which has a public citation category. After it's created, return to the ped and give the citation to the ped (default key: LControlKey + PgUp). You may open Computer+ as a tablet while on foot. (default key: LControlKey + NumPad0)  
Installation
Place ComputerPlus.dll, ComputerPlus.ini and the ComputerPlus folder in Plugins\LSPDFR\.
LSPDFR will automatically load Computer+ when you go on duty.
 
Usage
While in a stationary police vehicle, hold E or the Right D-Pad button to bring up Computer+.
 
Configuration
If you open the ComputerPlus.ini file, you will notice a few things.
You can change the username and/or password that is displayed on the login screen to anything you want.
You can also adjust which backgrounds are shown for which vehicles.
To give an additional police vehicle a background, simply add another entry in the format vehiclename:bgfile.jpg
ENSURE THAT THE VEHICLE YOU'RE ADDING IS A POLICE VEHICLE AND THE BACKGROUND FILE IS IN .JPG FORMAT.

Additional Info
Computer+ does not replace the default LSPDFR computer.
So, if you don't always want to use Computer+ during your patrols, then you need not worry - the default computer is still there.
 
Known Issues
Your cursor is frozen in the middle or does not move Pause GTA (if you cannot, unload LSPDFR) Go to Settings Keyboard / Mouse Mouse Input Method Set to "Raw Input" Your cursor does not appear ... make sure the display resolution in game matches your windows display resolution. If the resolutions do not match, you will not see a mouse cursor If you have multiple monitors, make sure GTA's Graphic Settings have the same "Output Monitor" set as the same monitor set as your windows primary monitor. Example, if you have three monitors and your left monitor is your primary windows monitor, make sure GTA's Output Monitor is set to the left monitor -- if GTA isn't set to the same primary monitor as windows, you will not see a mouse GTA5 freezes / drops to 1fps while computer+ is open.. ...after you alt+tabbed out of the game.. If you plan to alt tab out of the game, play in windows boardless Try to untick the option to draw the background before leaving the game screen. Until there is a way to detect if the game has focus, this seems to be the only solution ...after you opened the Rage console Don't do that.. seems to be an issue with Rage's handling of form events and the console key presses ....after you pressed the escape key Don't do that... Rage forms do not like the escape key pressed multiple times

If your game is crashing when opening ped or vehicle information window, please be informed that GTA V has very limited memory allocation for plugins which tends to crash your game when you have too many plugins installed. To prevent crashing, please try the followings:
Download and install a good "gameconfig.xml" which might  increase memory space for plugins. We recommend the one created by "dilapidated" Reduce your mods and plugins by disabling them one by one until your game is stable => !!!! Especially reduce a few "RagePluginHook" plugins in "GTA V\Plugins\" folder !!!! If your game is still crashing, try to disable Computer+ components: Disable ped image by setting the flag in the .ini file (set DisplayPedImage=false) Disable vehicle image by setting the flag in the .ini file (set DisplayVehicleImage=false) Disable random history report generator in the .ini file (set RandomHistoryReport=false)

It's finally here another out there release by me, a meter-maid car...(trike?) for GTA V and not only that but it's unlocked, so you guys can put what ever lightbar you want on it.
 
-------------------Story time----------
I was a little hesitant about releasing this as a dev, as when I first got the model back for GTA IV I had to buy it, and it cost me around $120 AUD (so $100 USD) which is why it was never released unlock for GTA IV, that and the way people acted was a little shit at the time. But with GTA V the community is much better and I have released many unlocked and DEV files for people to use and I have yet to see people claim them as their own, so this has gained some trust with me for this release. And if people don't break that trust I might work on and release the newer model Go4 also as a DEV.

----Know issues----
There is a small issue with the rims disappearing then the tires break, I looked into this for a few days to no luck.
You can 'elbow out' the windows as they are technically passengers windows.
To allow access from both side, the model needs a front passengers dummy, so the game thinks it is a two seater but it is not.

MANUAL INSTALLATION :
  Make a new folder somewhere on your desktop, name it anything Move Both the Vehicle folder and vehicle.oac file out of this .rar pack into the folder you just created on the desktop Open 'OpenIV' and go to your GTA V Directory. In 'OpenIV', go to the 'x64' folder, then audio > sfx > resident.rpf ( it is advised that you use your mod folder instead of vanilla )  Inside Resident.rpf should be 16 .awc files. Import openformats, navigate to the folder you put the Modern Siren Pack 'vehicles' folder and the 'vehicles.oac' in and  select the 'Vehicles.oac' save and you're good to go. - There is a fix for all Orange lights on Staniers, just install that "Amber lights and Clear Lightbar" mod.You need to replace the files inside the .ytd files. Federal Signal Smart Siren SS2000SM by Gravelroadcop 12/23/2017   At the time of releasing this, this is the highest quality of the Federal Signal Smart Siren 22000SM available to the community. The purity of the tones wouldn't be available if it wasn't for @nertervern, who recorded the tones using his own personal SS2000SM and professional audio recording tools. He donated the sirens to me and I was able to cut & edit them for Grand Theft Auto V.    About this modification :   Purest sound quality of all available Federal Signal Smart Siren mods in the LSPDFR community. Please note that the sirens will not sound 'natural.' If you want the sirens to sound like they are post-processed from the siren speaker, then extract the siren tones from the "natural" folder. Available tones : Wail, Yelp, Priority, Ambulance and Air-horn.     
 
To apply this siren to any other emergency vehicle slots, you will need to refer to an attached notepad file entitled " List ( READ THIS ! )." Inside the note will contain a list of siren hashtags that you can use to rename preexisting tones to a different slot.   Installation :   Before starting, always make sure to create backups before overwriting any original game files. To prevent this from happening, use the "mod" folder method through OpenIV.   - Somewhere on your desktop, create a new folder ( or refer to your modded siren folder that contains the vehicle.oac.) In order to accommodate the sirens for FBI, Fire Department and Granger slots, I had to remove an audio file named 0x1AE3EF45, x17E9AF5D and 0x1AE3EF45 from the sound dictionary to allow the extra space for the EQ2B/Q2B, Dual Sirens, and other lengthy sirens to work. The 0x17E9AF5D is a train track sound, so you hear it play when the train passes you. Unfortunately, if I do not remove it, the sirens will not work as it will exceed the 15.7mb limit imposed. You will have the backup files provided in case you wish to revert to default settings but this will make the sirens mod not to work. You have been advised !!

This isn't a major update, but rather a few tweaking with 1 new siren model introduced to the mod. The next version will contain many more new siren varibles to choose from, It is just not ready to be released yet. 
- Changed out the Federal Signal Smart Siren with improved Code 3 Mastercom B siren tones. The Fed Sig Smart Siren was moved to the granger slot, which means it will work for Sheriff2. 
- Better and LOUDER air horn for the Mastercom B Siren, ready to clear traffic on your command ! 
- The EQ2B has been removed from the Ambulance Slot, and replaced with SVP-SA-441 Magnum Dual Siren Tones. 
- The Whelen Tones that only works with the FIB Slots has been re-worked on and it sounds a lot more better than it's previous version. I hope you will like them !

I apologize for taking so long to get this model out, I have been struggling financially and in my personal life, hence leading to me not being able 
to do much modding.
 
MODEL NOTES

- This model feature the brand new Ford Crown Victoria from Forza Horizon 3. As such, the base model it uses is significantly better quality,
features proper textures, a full 3d engine, proper scaling and many other features. When myself and Lundy created this model, our goal was that if
it wasnt on the actual real life car, then we wouldnt feature it on our car and vise versa.
 
- The template for this base model is highly similar to the DSF one, but there are some slight differences which make it easier for skinners to
do their thing. It requires minimal ammount of work to make it fit my template!
 
- When using this model in zmodeler, I have added a flat engine as the L1 if you decide that you don't want to use the engine. All you have to do is 
decompound the engine, delete the L0 and copy the L1.
 
- I have also included the SAP version for people who would like to use that. 
 
- I will be making multiple other versions for this vehicle, being different years, all the way back to when they first used this body style.
 
- When making a model, you MUST make sure you go and drag in the options you want for your base model, If i see a message saying, oh why don't I have 
a grille, I will not answer.
 
- The template for the model is very similar to the one used for all of the DSF models, but unfortunately due to the difference in the models, and the
need to make it easier for skinners, the templates do not line up 100%.
 
- I've also included in the EXTRAS folder, a PSD for the emissives if you decide you want to change how bright they are, or change them entirely, 
the options for different colored interiors (tan and grey), and the templates for the windows and bodyshell.
 
- Everything in this model should be ready for you guys to do whatever with.

INSTILLATION INSTRUCTIONS

To install the vehicle models themselves, simply place them in your latest patch day in your mods folder.
I have installed the vehicles in my game to patchday10 where I have found the most success.
To install the VCF file, navigate to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\ELS\pack_default
and place it in there.
If you wish to install this vehicle to another slot, simply change the name of the vehicle, and change in the vehicle meta,
the handling line the slot uses to police.

- These vehicles feature the brand new Ford Crown Victoria from Forza Horizon 3. As such, the base model it uses is significantly better quality,

- The vehicles are rather large in size because of the 3d engine. Without the 3d engine the base model is around 98k. But quality.
- The models should be fully working, besides the front windshield breaking. It should handle exactly like you expect from the DSF vic, or any 
other crown victoria you have driven in game, but with significantly higher quality in the model.
- The template for this base model is highly similar to the DSF one, but there are some slight differences which make it easier for skinners to
do their thing. It requires minimal ammount of work to make it fit my template!
