  1. Protip: Use custom backup to create a custom menu entry for this. Load it down with 11 NOOSE SWAT troops. Call when you need a great big can of whoop-ass. ;) Just don't set it to spawn too far away since the AI has a tough time negotiating turns with this monster.
  2. Trying to load the 2015 Tahoe crashed my game.
  3. There is a Riot truck!! Finally!! One quibble: San Andreas is the state, Los Santos is the county.
  4. No problem, and thanks for the credit in your change log! I appreciate it!
  5. LSPDFR hasn't seen an update in over a year. I've been told it's still being worked on, so I'll accept that as true, but nevertheless, it seems clear that whatever is being done is taking a very long time. My question is, why not open source it on GitHub? People could contribute, submit pull requests, then all the developers would need to do is test the new code. Development could proceed much faster. Since LSPDFR is already free of charge, I don't see any downside to releasing the source.
  6. This is highly glorious, but can you make it pause while we are in Computer+, since it's impossible to respond from in there?
  7. What we really need is access to more audio strings so not every vehicle has to have the same sirens. What is the process for trying to figure out the audio strings? Maybe some of us can help.
  8. I notice that because this doesn't play them through the game, they are not affected by the game environment. The sirens do not echo for example. I don't suppose there is a way to fix this?
  9. if (Global.Loadout.Taser) { playerPed.Inventory.GiveNewWeapon("WEAPON_STUNGUN", 1, false); } This is in your core.cs. If I'm right, that second argument to playerPed.Inventory.GiveNewWeapon() is the ammo count. If so, this might explain.
  10. I do one shot with the taser and then it's done. If I go in my trainer and fill all ammo for the taser, it will start giving me more shots again.
  11. Since RDE comes with a version of WOV which seems to also cause cops to patrol, is there any benefit to using this mod concurrently with RDE?
  12. The taser you get from this only has one shot before it is out of ammo. Possible to give it more?
  13. If you don't plan to update this anymore, it would be great if you would open source it so the community can fork it. For example, it would be great if we could try to get a way for AI to use lights without sirens.
  14. Will you fix the Impala's takedown lights facing rear?
  15. When you are doing a takedown, it goes pretty much the same every time. They put their hands up, do that stupid little "I'm gonna act like I'm gonna run but NO JUST KIDDING I'm really not" animation, then get on the ground. As long as you keep your gun on them, there's no real suspense to the situation. An awesome mod would be one that gives a (preferably configurable) random chance for the suspect to decide to try to get the drop on you in the middle of this. Pull a gun if he has one and shoot you, or try to run, or, if you are standing too close, melee you, and then either continue attacking you or make a break for it.
  16. If you do extend that pursuit standoff callout, what would be really epic is if you could take your code for that and modify it a bit for use on regular traffic stops in a separate plugin. When you pull someone over with a felony warrant, currently you have to advance towards their car to take them down, which is unrealistic. You should be able to call commands from your car, make them walk backwards etc.
  17. You are my hero, dude. THANK YOU!!
  18. This is pretty awesome, man. One thing I'll say is that with the pursuit standoff call, it would be cool to have a bit more depth than just pressing U over and over. Maybe have several different choices of what to say that can have various effects.
  19. Please add BZ Gas! EDIT: To be honest I think the best loadout plugin we could have would be one that just gives you the ability to make a file with a list of the weapon names (like "WEAPON_PISTOL"), one on each line, and then just give you whatever you have listed. Not sure how difficult that would be to do.
  20. It would be great if you could update this so we can choose anything we like. I, for instance, would love to have BZ Gas on duty. Surely it would be simpler for you to just add options for all the weapons and be done with it rather than have to update it every time someone has a request? Or perhaps a better idea: Change the mod (or add a different version) that lets you enter a list of weapon names and just gives you whatever is in the list. So you have to know the GTA name of the weapon, but then you could have whatever you like.
  21. Last I saw it looked like he had some awesome stuff in the works, TrafficStops+, Automatic Roadblocks v2, SWAT Revamped, but he hasn't posted since May. Just hoping maybe he'll see this and say hello.
