It was meant to be update for LC Retro by JTM but we couldn't communicate well about so in future it will be merged with that pack probably. Hello everyone! I'm here with my pride to present one of the hardest cars to make, knowing that its supposed to replicate its real life counterpart. The car I'm going to present you is a Chevrolet Caprice 9C1 from Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. This car is a reknown piece of history for the department and also cars in general. It wasn't easy to make, or better say know to make this car. There were so few pics of it (most of them are shitty replicas spawning randomly on Google) that I had to dig in things like LASD classic recruiting videos and even the episodes from the COPS TV Series (Season 2, 1989-1990) to find actual references of this car, and make it like how it's supposed to be.
And now, I finally succeded!

Q: Why do the lights steady burn randomly?
A: It's probably an ELS thing, use a trainer to disable the extras which turn on the lights.
Q: Why are LSTG-1 and LSTG-2 the same?
A: As you know, this car is from the 80s, so don't expect to have so many patterns and be a fancy Christmas tree.
Q: Why doesn’t the car work?

Welcome to Police Menu! A modern and quick access HUD to enhace your gameplay!
 
Are you tired of jumping through several menus, bashing your arrow keys to find that one setting you want to change? Are you a fan of realistic looking Police Computers and want to switch from the GTA5 looking menus? This mod will help you achieve this.
 
Police Menu offers quick access to a handful of every-shift use utilities. You can quick-equip gloves when you have to jump in and stop a fight, open the Police Computer for all kinds of information, write parking tickets for vehicles and many more!

Police Menu is compatible with Ultimate Backup, Policing Redefined and vanilla LSPDFR.

Every key used by this pack can be changed in the PoliceMenu.ini settings.
By default the following keys are used:
 
DialogKey=Y
InteractionKey=X
MenuKey=N
ModifierMenuKey=ControlKey
 
By default the Interactive Menu is opened by pressing N + Control at the same time.
Set ModifierMenuKey to "None" if you want to open it without pressing two keys at the same time.

Notice: If your game is crashing while loading
If your game is crashing during the loadingscreen after installing Police Menu, you need to install the following files:
Custom Gameconfig
mods/update/update.rpf/common/data
Heap Adjuster
main GTAV folder
Packfile Adjuster
main GTAV folder
 
 
Copy the plugins folder into your main Grand Theft Auto directory (ex: .../steamapps/common/Grand Theft Auto V/)
If installed correctly it should look like this: Grand Theft Auto V/plugins/LSPDFR/PoliceMenu.dll
Copy all files from the OPENIV folder into Open IV in the following path:
mods -> update -> update.rpf -> x64 -> data -> cdimages -> scaleform_generic.rpf

The ingame menu offers a modern HUD with the following options available:

Perform Drug Swab test

Court System:
Both Citations and Arrest Reports will sooner or later go to the San Andreas Court. You'll receive a phonecall when a case is available at court (unless disabled in the .ini). Here you'll be able to follow the proceedings and watch the outcome your citation / arrest has. This is purely optional and will not impact your gameplay in any way.

asi file that puts you directly into the loading screen of the game. no intro, no ads, no legal warnings etc.
since this is a simple asi script your main gta.exe will not be modified. also there's no need to change any .rpf file. which prevents crashes or online issues. BEWARE this script was made for singleplay story mode ONLY! yes, you can use it along with lspdfr to get on duty faster 🙂

Requirements;
dinput8.dll (comes along with ScripthookV)
 
Install:
put this file in your main GTA5 directory.

since i got a lot of mails asking for the reworked asi already including the changed line i decided to upload this file now. so all you have to do is put it in your main gta5 directory and thats it. in case it doens't work i can't help. but there should be no reason for that.

Just a little unmarked CVPI using a Whelen Flatlight with a minimal setup, I might expand on this and add more cars but who knows. - Who knows? I do! As of the 10th of July 2023 I am revisiting the project after someone reported a pretty big bug that has annoyed me. Whilst remaking the CVPI from scratch, why not add more cars?

1998 CVPI - Cancelled due to model issues. Update: 2011 CVPI (Found a new bug, rear left door has broken collision, this breaks the animation + you can't close it. Repair the car to close as a temp fix until I remake from scratch once the other cars are all added. 2018 Charger - Pending release 2014 Tahoe - Pending release 2019 Tahoe
