Agreed on that, we shouldnt let terror run our lifes. Let me restate that statement. Pay attention to your country´s goverment and defence system, Brussel was on high allert for a long time. You could tell this one was about to come. If shit starts hitting the fan you should stay away from crowded places. Brussel officials raided an aprtment building that had 11 Kalasnikovs and ISIS banners all over the place. When those things happen I recommend staying away from those crowded places, cause thats the point that you´re sure something is up.

Yep, Im Dutch too. Dont worry too much, just stay away from big cities like Amsterdam and Rotterdam and you´ll be alright.

ISIS happend, its truely horrifying. I can almost say for sure that The Netherlands will be next on the list. Im getting the feeling they are just walking down the list. The Brussel attacks could have been even worse if SWAT didnt raid that apartment stacked with AKs.

Turned out he had nothing to do with it. A heavely armed SWAT team arrested a man who they had in their vission for a while. He came back from Belguim at the worst time possible for him. This lead to his arrest.

Just read it in the paper. It states that the airport is not yet confirmed clear, SWAT will enter in a couple hours. Lets hope the best for these brave men and women. My condolance to all the victims families.

In a couple of years Ill try to get into the academy, that means Im willing to take the risk, doesnt it..? I also stated that the money could go to better use. It would be better to spend the money to train officers to respond quicker to gun fire and seek better cover. Not all fire fights take place near your vehicle you know.. Let me also state that I never said "why bother?" I only said the money good go to more effecient causes.

No not at all, if it where to be bad highway patrol wouldnt casually sit next to you at a traffic stop. The only gun voilence there is is from mobsters slaughtering each other.

Well you can click youself loose, I would shit myself too, but it could be a clever tactic when you´re infaltrating a warehouse or something. The riotshield goes infront and the guys behind point their guns at the doors, accept for the 2 behind the shield the point infront. About the training, some challenges are really fun, like rappeling or ziplining of the Rotterdam Tower :)

Noo haha, they´ll beanbag the shit out of you haha. We have also got some infaltration moves for busts. In some cases the team is tied to each other to provide secureance for the intire team, doesnt happen much though. They come in whenever the situation can possibly escalate into a firefight.

Its very unlikely that you see a train this big. The BMW´s are part of the team. But their very relaxed and laid back. You´ll see a black BMW with a sign that says STOP POLICE pull infront of you, they´ll escort you to a safe pullover spot. They´ll over the passenger side door take a seat and explain to you what you did wrong. After that you get a chance to see the footage for yourself and thats about it.

The funny thing about out highway patrol is that they always pull people over by driving infront of them, cant run that way :)

And our SWAT team always goes in a train (convoy) as our police force calls it. The train has 2 unmarked sedan BMW´s heavely armored and one SUV BMW also heavily armored.

Nope, for highway patrol we have motorbikes and unmarked BMW´s.

I believe its 0-60 in 10 sec. Its good enough for an urban environment

Just a motorola radio and siren. Thats about all they got. We also have a standart issued Volkswagon van. Its suprisingly fast.
