A hostage situation where you try to negotiate with the perps would be cool. It would go like this: -The player gets the call and arrives on scene. There are police cars and cops acting as a perimeter and the cops have their guns trained on the hostage takers. -The player can try to negotiate with the takers (the speech can be subtitled if there isn't any usable audio files) and it would act like the suicidal ped situation in LCPDFR where it would be a slider and the green zone would be things to calm the perp down and convince them to release hostages while orange and red zones would fire him up and even make him kill hostages. -The player can't enter the building the taker and hostages are in lest both the player and hostages are shot. -The whole thing is running on a timer, and once the timer runs out, SWAT shows up and attacks. This is inadvisable to let happen, as hostages will likely die in the firefight. -If they talk the taker down, he walks out hands up, and goes into the kneeling part of the arrest animation. The player then arrests him/her.
