SerekgPL reacted to TheLittleTrainThatCould for a file, More Pedestrian and Traffic
This is a simple modification that increases the population in Grand Theft Auto V to make the city of Los Santos feels less like a ghost town.

As of 1.2 There are these options available at the moment:

    High Peds Only (10x)
    High Traffic Only (10x)
    High Traffic and Peds (10x)

    Med Peds Only (5x)
    Med Traffic Only (5x)
    Med Traffic and Peds (5x)

    Low Peds Only (2x)
    Low Traffic Only (2x)
    Low Traffic and Peds (2x)

NOTE: this mod only increases the amount of Traffic, Peds, and Parked Cars not Population Variety. also be sure to set the Population Density and Variety to the max in your graphic setting.

I don't want to add an incredibly High setting of the pedestrian and vehicles because let's face it.. it will never going to work in a million years, but for some of you who wants to take the risk of having a potential gamecrash after a few minutes of playing (unless you have a beast of a PC), i will add it in the next update along with few other options.

Installation: extract the file somewhere, Launch Open IV, direct to " \update\update.rpf\common\data ", choose which settings you'd like and simply replace the vanilla gameconfig.xml with the modified one, close Open IV and you're all set to go!
    Requires
Other - this works with Any-other modification,
as long as it does NOT replace gameconfig.xml

Federal Signal SS2000 siren for GTA V - as used by the LAPD in real life! As seen in real Code 3 response footage, End Of Watch etc.
What you get in the pack:
Wail Yelp Pier* Manual/Bullhorn *In reality the LAPD only uses the above two but I included the pier to replace the vanilla game's one as it felt a bit empty without it.

    LSPDFR 0.2
    Control Guide v1
    Introduction
Hello Community Members! This is the full list of the LSPDFR 0.2 Controls. This was previously a forum, but has now been transformed into a downloadable file! I hope this helps anyone who is new to LSPDFR, and other members who need to fully learn all controls. All controls listed have been tested (Excluding "Force Duty" because of how my keyboard is set up) and work. Still, if you find an error or would like me to add something, shoot me a PM or leave a comment below!
Reviews and comments are much appreciated, so feel free to post them below! This will be updated frequently with anything that needs to be added. For now, have fun with LSPDFR 0.2!

G17 Media: I would like to personally thank G17 Media for creating LSPDFR. Without them, this would be 100% useless and wouldn't exist.

ineseri: His forum post helped me with certain controls when I stumbled on a few I didn't know. Thanks, ineseri!

SerekgPL reacted to Sgt.Kanyo for a file, Amber parking lights for the 2nd gen. Stanier
This is a simple texture edit of all the 2nd generation Vapid Stanier (police, police4, sheriff, taxi)
vehicles, that changes part of the headlights and indicators to amber. Both the headlights and indicators will
be amber even when the lights are turned off.
Plus, as an optional mod, I added a visualsettings.dat mod that turns every indicator light on a steady
glow at night. Unfortunately this means parked cars will have them on as well.
    Installation:
You're gonna need OpenIV for this. All the .ytd files go into vehicles.rpf, while visualsettings.dat go into common/data located in update.rpf.

SerekgPL reacted to FtDLulz for a file, Overlay Away - Hide props in first person!
    Information
Have you ever chosen a police model with a hat or glasses, only to find those props actually obscure your vision when in first person?
No more. When using this plugin those annoying props will be automatically removed when going into first person and restored when going back into third person. Now you won't have to forego putting on those aviators just because they blind you even more than the sun ever would!

    Installation and Usage
You need the Rage Plugin Hook for this to work. This has been tested with versions 0.16.607.3592 and 0.15.552.2608, though it should work with earlier versions.
When you have that installed, drop the .dll into your Plugins folder. Once you're in-game, press F4 to bring up the Rage Hook console, and type 'LoadPlugin OverlayAway.dll' (without the apostrophes). If you're using a version of Rage Hook earlier than v0.16, it will probably say something about the plugin not being verified. Just hit the up arrow, and then enter again. It should load correctly. The plugin will take care of everything else automatically.
When you go in first person while wearing glasses or a hat, they'll be automatically removed from your character but saved. When going back into a third person view, the props you had on will be automatically restored, as if they were there all along.
If you put props on in first person, they might block your view until you switch out of first person and back again.
If you like being in first person a lot and don't mind the awful name, than this plugin's for you.

    Planned Features
    None at this time.
    Miscellaneous
Please, PM me any bug or crash reports. I'll try my best to fix any unseen issues that might happen. Thanks!
