  1. and the anticipation begins anew. big thanks to the team for all the work they've done and their commitment to the community.
  2. I wouldn't mind text based dialogue in traffic stops, in order to flesh that part out a bit more. I'm more action oriented - so perhaps a partner / k-9 + non-auto aggressive crime taking place all over, in addition to the pursuits.
  3. To echo what's been brought up here: - Melee attacks are a bit too strong, often resulting in murderdeathkills. - Every ped I've wounded (using pistol) in leg or or arm has gone on to die seconds later. - Perhaps keep all nearby peds under better control, in traffic and even walking around, while making arrests + having weapon drawn. Fantastic first release guys! Callouts and pursuits are outstanding, with only 2 desktop crashes in several hours of play. Looking forward to seeing this become even more varied in terms of encounters, because those capture the true spirit of Rockstar games - no matter what side of the law you're on.

  5. I'm really enjoying the pursuits and callouts. I've experienced several of the bugs that have been noted here, namely red dots persisting after death, prompts to arrest after death, and some crazy animation loops during different stages of apprehending. Civilians and law enforcement both can be a little aggressive behind the wheel still, but this is tame compared to what I remember from Rockstar default. What I would like to see: Maybe some non-vehicular crime? Or crime that may end up going to autos, but only after a chase and a shootout. Bank robberies (obviously don't expect a full heist, but say as they're 'fighting their way out' etc), response to drive-bys, domestic disputes turning ugly, drug / gang houses, hostage situations, liquor store robberies, etc. Also, tasers in all law enforcement loadouts pretty please. Anyone else kill Trevor on the back of a pickup while he was manning a .50 cal machine gun? +1 devs, <3 u all for that particular chase.
  6. Yeah definitely want to offer my thanks, again. Rockstar sends their regards as well, without this modding community they wouldn't have just took me for 60 bucks. I don't mind games with the other side of the law, just don't pigeon hole me into it. You guys have made something special indeed, allowing us to bring the law to Los Santos.
  7. I'll never understand enti I'll never understand entitlement, especially taken to these depths. You see a man get called on something he knows ain't right, and he's likely to own up. Here though we got some true next-level entitlement. Fighting tooth and nail to prove he's the one been done wrong, and denying anything out of sorts is going down on his end. Some folks in this thread still in diapers it seems.
  8. I see. Well hopefully a sort of standalone free roam mode gets some focus, so that way Rockstar won't see this and other mods as potentially harming the organized stuff. If that's even how it could work. I'm pretty sure now I won't be using steam. Anything I should know then going in to V and LSPDFR?
  9. Thanks to the devs + useful feedback here, Rockstar will be getting my money very soon.
  10. First - I'd like to thank the dev community for creating massive appeal in a game that otherwise would not have any (for me at least). I've only been a pc gamer for about 2 years now, but I've modded skyrim and arma extensively, both in and out of Steam Workshop. This time around I'm thinking I'd like to avoid Steam. Will having a non-Steam version affect the modding process? I also saw videos of LCPDFR in multiplayer mode. Was this an intended feature, or a mod of a mod? If online functionality is a goal then count me in. I just hope we can play from Steam to Steamless versions! Again, many thanks to the entire community here for turning a missed opportunity of this magnitude into something fantastic. Sorry if all these answers are in a neat box somewhere. I poked around for about an hour and didn't find much.
