I have to admit that you did make some good points. While I don't necessarily agree with him preventing these models for clan use I do see the flaws in my argument. Thanks for enlightening me on those mistakes.

This is completely hypothetical, but would you authorize these models for clan/ community use? I am quite curious about this.

Well, I wrote this at around 3 A.M. and it took me about 10 minutes to write. At the time, I had nothing else to do. On a side note, I apologize for the numerous grammar mistakes I had made. Anyhow, I could see why many were offended by me trying to contradict what the uploader had stated. I just simply felt upset that I wanted to use these amazing models in a community I was in, but was unfortunately restricted from doing so. I could have used them anyway, however I did not want to ignite any dispute. Granted, I hope you can understand my points I made, and I sincerely hope you may take them into consideration. I could understand not wanting the pack redistributed on public websites, however I was upset with the heavy restriction on clan/ community use. Once again, I formally request that you take consideration into my points. I assure you, allowing clan use would offer you potential benefits. All I request is that you consider what I have stated above before threatening to file copyright claims on people who would like to spread and share your marvelous work. Thank you for your time.

Ok, so i created new models in the vehicles.ide, (police5, 6 and so on) and when i try to enable els on them els doesnt work in game. I really need help with this!

With all due respect, I can technically use these models in my clan if I wanted to for a few reasons: 1- to make these mods, you need to use the assets and key components of GTA IV to create and use them in game. these assets/components are under the ownership of Rockstar games, not you. 2- the models are actually not anything new. Basically, the models here are simple re-skinned from the default models. You are not changing the files in anyway, other than by cosmetic details. Basically, all you are doing is simply re-drawing or re-modeling the pre-made models, you aren't changing and files whatsoever. think about it like this: Scientifically: a physical change is only changing the appearance of the substance, while in a chemical change you are creating a new substance. What you are doing here is a chemical change. 3- If I were to use these models, I would not be making any prophet from the whatsoever. If you were to copyright them, which you cant (see #1, and #4) It wouldn't matter if I used them, as I would not acquire any currency off of them. 4- You cannot copyright mods. Mods are, as they are called, "modifications" for an already copyrighted game. All the files, assets and components are already under the Rockstar ownership. Think of it like this, if I were to make a texture entitled "police_sign_1", or something in that regard, I was not creating a new file, I was simply "drawing" over the already created "police_sign_1". 5- Can I please see the copyright form? If you simply went to a website such as copyrighted.com and got a copyright on these models, it is not official. I could go on Copyrighted.com and get a copyrighted form for McDonalds, in which I would then acquire all the rights to McDonalds. Obviously, that is not possible. 6- You have uploaded the Models to LCPDFR.com, a public file sharing website. By uploading these files, you are giving everyone and anyone consent to do whatever they want with these models. If you didn't want anyone to use them, you shouldn't have uploaded them, or at least uploaded them to a private site. 7- According to copyright law, you con not copyright a U.S. Government work. the NYPD is a government agency, so using the NYPD logo's in this "art" is technically prohibited. (The NYPD logo may be copyrighted, but I am not too sure on that" 8- If the textures are what you call "art" than I can technically use them as I would be under the fair use act of 1976. Just like a youtube video, these textures are indeed "art". Also, while on the topic of Fair use, the idea of my clan is to provide a fun, safe, and educational experience. I want to teach my members about what it is like to be an NYPD officer. The fair use act allows me to use these textures for non profit, educational purposes. In conclusion, I have every right to use these models for any purpose I wanted. I'm not sure if I will use them in my clan, but I will still be respectful and give you proper credit where it is due. I hope I did not spark any drama, I simply wanted you to take these factors into consideration. I love the models by the way, great job with them :D.

Im pretty sure i installed everything correctly, as everything works fine, except the cop model's face is all messed up (ex: facial features mixed up and misplaced) i will try to re install them, as it might ber my fault, but if it's not i figured id just type this to let you know of this issue.

Could someone please link me to a working 2012 charger model? when i apply the textures, they are all messed up (ex logo's on rear doors, license plate on trunk hood)

i love it! but when i installed the cars, only the broker-dukes pd models spawn in. im new to modding, so if anyone can help me change the models to spawn all pd models, it would help a lot, thanks :D all in all, i love the cars and the author did a great job!
