Installation?
You're probably missing some C++ tools. Did the game tell you what's missing or something like that? What error message do you get?

LSPDFR Announcement + Preview
The first release of LSPDFR will probably be buggy. By the looks of it, LSPDFR has more content than any other GTA 5 mod out there right now. With so much stuff, there will most likely be bugs. There aren't a lot of mods that don't have bugs. But LSPDFR will probably be may more stable than that police mod

Mobile you say? Are you using celluar data? That could be the reason, as celluar data isn't the fastest connection to the internet

I think it's because it was nighttime. No flashlights were on the pistols in the GIF below, and that happened during daytime I don't have that mod installed :P Oh really?

14 May - New Screenshots!
To be honest, I'd rather stare at LSPDFR snapshots instead of play that police mod. The wait will be worth it. And as the team already said, they won't really know when LSPDFR will be done until it's done to their satisfaction

Petition To Let Staff Members Edit Other User's Posts
What you are saying contradicts what you said in our PM's. That post I was talking about in our PM's violates the rules, yet you didn't edit it. We can discuss more via PM's if you'd like P.S. Fixed my widget... Sort of. By the way, can't do polls for some reason I didn't mean that the staff can just edit anybody's post, I meant they should be allowed to edit posts if rules are broken. I think me and ineseri had a misunderstanding in our PM's leading to me thinking that staff don't edit posts if rules are broken. It may be best to have this topic removed or closed

Petition To Let Staff Members Edit Other User's Posts
Ok, so let me explain. I was having a formal argument with ineseri (ineseri is the Assistant Community Manager in case you didn't know). I won't go into details, but we discussed different ways of staff members handling posts. I offered the idea of editing user's posts, and here was the response: I think editing user's posts is the best way to handle some situations. For example, if a user has made a post that doesn't make sense but a staff member can understand it then they should edit it so everyone else can understand it. I think that the staff should be allowed to edit other's posts, and if you agree with me then please sign the petition here: http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/lcpdfr-website-allow-staff-to-edit-forum-posts or use the widget below (Widget isn't working, apologies)

So other users can write posts that don't make sense which directly violates the guidelines, but I can't defend myself? Seems legit

Not to be rude or anything, but some periods in your post would be lovely. They're kind of important to the english language. Anyhow, the developers won't really know the release date until LSPDFR is done to their satisfaction. They could come across a bug that could take days to fix. There's no need to rush them, especially since Sam has given up on the whole sleep thing. Just be patient, Sam has already said that the waiting is nearing it's end

LSPDFR Announcement + Preview
Sam said that they'd release another video and then LSPDFR itself. No dates were given, but my guess is that they'll post the video next week and then release LSPDFR in early June. June isn't that far away, so let's keep the hype alive! WOO!!!

You might want to calm your excitement. Sam said that they'd release another video and then LSPDFR. No dates were given, but my guess is that LSPDFR won't be released until early June

Ok, thanks. I've tried teaching myself, but it isn't like trial and error for me it's just error and error :P

20 May - 9 New Screenshots!
Huh, younger than the average modder. Not judging or anything, in fact I see it as a good thing. If you don't mind me asking, which languages do you use and how did you learn them? I ask because I'm the same age and very interested in learning script (I'm specifically interested in Lua) by modding GTA 5. Anyways, it doesn't hurt to start your mod. There is a chance that LSPDFR could be completely incompatible with your mod, but it doesn't really make sense not to work on it

LSPDFR Announcement + Preview
No one ever said that it'd be a beta release (I think). And if you look at the screenshots, there is a ton to come (Dat rhyme doe). Plus, they can do so much more in GTA 5

Just wait for SNT to come out for GTA 5. It will probably have a Clean Player feature like in GTA 4

Lights, No siren ? Is it that hard
That is very possible. It was actually done for consoles, but not for PC yet. Just a matter of time before a mod like that comes out
-
LSPDFR Announcement + Preview
Oh, well there are accessories made for cops. It'll actually probably be in LSPDFR, since it was in LCPDFR. I'm pretty sure I've seen officers with glasses on, which means that it could easily be in LSPDFR. And I agree with the first person running thing. But I think there is a way to have it so you don't always run in the settings. Not sure, but if not then a mod is completely possible. Nice ideas, they're pretty important to LSPDFR if the user wants to play in first person mode

Well, if the mod was made it'd have to make adjustments to every accessory for every single model in the game. That would require tools for modding that don't exist and could take months
-
20 May - 9 New Screenshots!
As for automated siren, that would be difficult since GTA 5 doesn't define what kind of road a road is like an intersection. It is probably possible, but it would be complicated

LSPDFR Announcement + Preview
The blood thing is easily possible. Just some script involving the model. Might be buggy with other mods, but it may not be. And as for the glasses and hats, a mod would have to have custom accessories that look like the ones in normal GTA 5 but adjusted for the model being used. That is a lot of work for something little, I don't really see it ever happening
-
20 May - 9 New Screenshots!
I've seen a view like that using the cinematic camera view. I guess it could be possible to have a script do what you want, but it could easily get buggy. Having a feature like this in LSPDFR would be a longshot

20 May - 9 New Screenshots!
They said that there would be SWAT teams, which is equivalent to NOOSE. They meant that there wouldn't be any military in LSPDFR like marines

In theory, it's possible to have a key do it and have it done automatically at the same time. But as Sam said, the animation isn't made for walking. However, a custom animation could be made. I doubt this will be a feature for a while though
