  1. To backup, just copy and paste onto your desktop. In regards to your key bindings. If you changed the default controls for your game to your liking, then it's possible once you delete (after backing up) your autosaves, your controls will revert to default. To access your key bindings, you can access them through the game's pause menu
  2. It seems like based on the exception code that your autosaves are corrupt Delete the following 2 files: [cfg.dat] and [pc_settings.bin] in this Folder: C:\Users\YOUR-USERNAME\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\Profiles\ACCOUNT-CODE\ I would backup those files before you delete. You might need to reconfigure your key bindings.
  3. Actually, believe me or not, I once got curious to see if there was an update for LSPDFR, so I went the download page for LSPDFR and saw a download for LSPDFR 0.4 as a beta so I couldn't download it, but now I don't even see it anymore... Here's more info on it, someone else apparently saw it too!
  4. I'm working on a mod where you can assist or be assisted in a Felony traffic stop using verbal commands with a mic! Will also work with keys if you don't have a mic. A video example below. No ETA on release, but hopefully sometime in February.
  5. Did you go on duty first? For me, sometimes I have to press shift several times before something happens. Try going behind a car and hit the left shift button a few times and see if that works. Hope this helps!
  6. Idk if anyone has asked this question, but with the development of LSPDFR, will you guys still be working on LCPDFR, or is it now considered abandoned?
  7. I may have discovered a tweak to play on max graphics settings without overclocking and losing FPS on low end and medium PC's If you want credibility, I created this post a while back: http://www.lcpdfr.com/topic/1211-how-to-play-gta-iv-smoothly-on-a-low-end-computer/

  9. Reality check: If you ask the devs for a release date, you end up slowing them down in regards to development.
  10. Yes, it will work on the PC version of GTA V
  11. You'll thank me later... http://www.palmbeachgames.com/
  12. You're quite welcome! I just found a huge trick to help run GTA IV on low end PC's. It has nothing to do with lowering graphics, editing the command line, or shaders folder. It has to do with the timecyc which actually has been mentioned before as a solution on multiple websites, but it's not helpful for everyone. I made a custom made timecyc file that will literally boost your game's fps by a lot without hurting the graphics in the game! You move the entire folder :)
  13. If you don't want the game to run in window mode, remove "-windowed" in the commandline text file
  14. Well, because my guess was you were copying the wrong folder that matches your graphics card...but I guess not...I'll look into this and get back to you with an answer asap. What mods do you have including vehicles and what type of graphics card do you have?
  15. Actually, there is a way to use two different kind of sirens at once by going here, http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=435629 and download that. So, when you're in a firetruck or in a cruiser, you can use the main siren or the mod one or both.
  16. We don't know, it will be ready for download when it's ready, so relax, be patient, or go outside and get some fresh air. :)
  17. No, what you must do if you have an ATi graphics card is move win32_30_nv8 into win32_30_atidx10. It should no longer be in located in common/shaders itself rather you should only see it in commonshaderswin32_30_atidx10. Hope this is more clear.
  18. Open your GTA IV directory and go to common/shaders/. You should see a folder called win32_30_atidx10 and win32_30_nv8 and others. Make a backup folder of win32_30_nv8 and move it into win32_30_atidx10 since you have an ATi graphics card. Hope this helps! :)
  19. So, today I started messing around with my computer and found it useful for low end pc's that if you have your screen resolution 800 x 600 and also put 800 x 600 in your gta graphics menu settings, you would have 15 - 30 fraps through the whole game...(no promises but most likely will work) I know it looks horrible, but when your desperate and you hate lagging, this is your best option... ALSO very important.... if you're going to switch your resolution, when you play the game, if you have the game on high priority, when you press a key, it will be delayed in the game...so my advice to you is put the game on normal priority.....Remember that this is only for people with low end pc's or if you like having a game with horrible graphics
  20. Yea that has heppened b4 to me....the only way to stop this from happenning is not to frisk them or wait for a car to run you over and kill you...that stopped the problem lol
  21. Okay open up the commandline in your main directory and delete the line: -windowed
  22. This happens sometimes...What you have to do is put the folder back into the original location and start the game, you can save if you want. Then exit, put the folder back into the new location and try starting the game again. If that fails, run GTA IV.exe as an administrator. That might also solve the problem.
