  1. To Admin, I have a previous thread about this already started. Since posting my earlier thread I have done some things differently, and learned alot. Please delete my earlier thread vs. deleting this one or merging the two as this one is much easier to follow and actually has some information that could be helpful. I hope this is not a problem and apologize in advance if it is. - Before I started anything, I did a complete system restore. Below you will see the basic information about my computer: - Display: DxDiag display.txt - System: DxDiag system.txt - I followed all the steps in this video exactly as demonstrated, even using the exact same vehicle pack used in the video.
  2. Admin, if possible please delete my prior thread on this topic as I have learned quite a bit since then, I figure it would be much easier for all involved to just start fresh. I hope this is not a problem... - All of this was done after a full system restore, I followed this video step by step, even the vehicle this guy used. I am pretty sure I did everything exactly as it should have been done. - I ran the diagnostic tool included in the download, it indeed showed errors. I am really unsure of what the coding says, but here it is. Diagnostics_1.4.2015_14_25_37.log - This is my display settings. DxDiag display.txt - This is my system settings. DxDiag system.txt
  3. Im sorry I just double checked and it is "Vista service pack 2" not XP I'd assume that will not work either. I am actually running Vista, not XP as I oroginally thought. Also, I just did a complete system restore of my computer so I assume I will need to re-download everything. I figure this will be easiest so I can follow each required step and bypass what's not required, I am figuring I probably installed some things I didn't need. Posts merged -Staff
  4. Hello all, let me start by saying I have spent an entire day trying to research what all I need to do to make the LCPDFR game work for my PC. As the title states I am completely new to PC gaming, I mean this quite literally as I have never actually played a game on my PC. When I do feel like gaming I play on an xbox 360. I figured I would start a thread here to get the help I need. I know there are thousands of topics like mine, but I have a hard time with searching because Someone will explain how to fix a specific problem, but I have no idea what they mean, i.e. "make sure you copy "x" file to you game folder". With that being said, I know I am working with old computer stuff here, if it ever does work I expect lag and crashes until I can upgrade all my stuff. I don't really know what all information you guys need to help me out so please ask and I will do my best to answer, but remember, I am not up to date on computer terms and I dont know what components do what, as stated, 100% new to this. I will tell you what I have and what I have done to this point. -Downloaded GTA4 from Rockstar website (PC download) -Downloaded the LCPDFR program from the LCPDFR website. -Downloaded various files and and programs suggested during my searching My PC is a Dell Inspiron 530 on Windows XP. Video card is Radeon HD4350 1275MB. If someone wouldn't mind giving me step by step instructions, and kind of help me when I don't understand what you are actually saying, I would greatly appreciate! Thank you in advance!!
