  1. hello, i have recently come across the problem of whenever i go to change out my police and my sheriff vehicles they almost always seem to glitch out and the vehicle i replace them with doesnt seem to show up. Providing some screen shots so you can see what i mean. (first is the police) (second one is the sheriff cruiser) vehicle mods i am currently using ingame: LAPD Ford Tarus Police Interceptor By F5544 Dodge Charger 2015 LSPD Ford Taurus With Fed Sig Valor Dodge Charger Unmarked 2012 (vehicle i am driving in first pic) 2015 Unmarked Chevy Suburban 2011 LASD CVPI - BXBUGS123 2014 Unmarked Ford Taurus if anyone can figure out this issue and help me fix it, that would be great

  6. I have tried a mods folder and for some reason it still wont replace the vehicles.

Hi, So i acquired a couple of car mods for my gta v recently (steam version) and have been trying to get them to install into gta v so that when i play lspdfr they will show up different but for some weird reason open iv will replace them but the game will make them revert back to the default police vehicles of gta v. Anyone have a fix for this issue or had this issue before and maybe has some advice on fixing this.?

  9. @FCV96, for a while yes to replace the aging 1911 .45 in their inventory, but they found that the glock 17 tactical sidearm was a better choice for several reasons that even i dont know about @I3ubba you are so right, thank you for clarifying what i figured was part of the right answer. The taser usage within the Los Angeles Police is usually placed within the same level or even below the baton since it fires the darts which are supposed to send i believe 120 or 20 volt charges to the subject. The reason i had mentioned the baton as part of the levels of use of force application was because i was referencing part of the 1950's use of force application for the LAPD.
  10. @BogdanM and everyone else reading this, here are a few facts about the lapd that should answer your questions, if not feel free to ask more and i will provide as much info on the subject as i can. so, in answer to your question BogdanM i have a few answers for you: 1. The LAPD's official handbook states that all officers are allowed to wear short sleeves or long sleeves (weather depending of course). If it is a hot day, then the officers are allowed to choose between short sleeve and long sleeve shirts. 2. The use of force guideline for the lapd says that there are 3-4 levels of non lethal force authorized for officers to use before using lethal force. The criteria for each one is very specific, but for the one your mentioning which is a baton use, it depends on what the situation is. It is a part of the levels of non-lethal force so it can be used whenever the previous one before it has failed to keep the subject under control. 3. Before the new Glock 17 was made the department issued sidearm, the m1911 chambered in a .45ACP caliber was the standard issue, but due to rising costs for .45ACP ammunition purchase back in the day and the lapd wanting to find a more efficient sidearm for their officers to use, the Glock 17 9mil and .45ACP versions were made available for officers to have as their sidearm, of course department policy does state that any officer may purchase their own personal sidearm and use it while on duty as long as it fits within department regulations for a sidearm. 4. each station has its own geographical area to patrol, so yes all officers from one station will patrol within their jurisdiction, but are allowed to respond out of district if a call requires multiple officers from nearby divisions to respond. 5. Since technical services is the primary mechanic for the LAPD and the citizens will usually frown upon any ramming of vehicles within city limits, its usually not allowed for them to do so. They are trained to use pit manuvers but only if conditions are good enough to preform the maneuver.

    This is my very first skin for gta v using the recently released dodge charger 2015 rt vehicle (which i take no credit in making the model itself and thank the modeler who made this mod for his/her tireless work in making such a awsome vehicle) I only take credit for making the vehicle skin itself. to install: navigate to update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday3ng\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf and open the ytd and replace any of the skins that have "policenew" in its name
  11. how is that a fact, everything about the department shows that its LAPD, from ranks to uniform to current vehicle inventory in game is proof that its based off LAPD. It may not seem like it, but it is. Last comment the reason i say its a fact is because i live in the city of la and everything about the lspd and the way they look match up to what i see in real life
  12. @Lundy Thank you for replying so soon, but here is my thing: 1. when i said harley davidson, i was basing it off the LAPD's inventory of current bikes and that bike in GTAV looks exactly like a Harley Davidson bike that LAPD is using right now until they run out the mileage. 2. The LSPD is based off the LAPD, so yeah..LAPD is right, but its your opinion not mine and im not gonna get into the whole argument that los santos and based off los angeles ca, because in all truth, There are multiple locations that are in the exact same place as los angeles california and several tourist destinations that are in the game are based off real life locations in los angeles. Thats all im gonna say on that subject. 3. Seriously 300K poly? man the modders must hate that right now, Also damn man that sucks for you guys but then again it isnt my place to tell you guys whether or not you should released models locked or unlocked, the reasoning behind that is simple: if i didnt make it or have any part in helping with the model whether it be skins or model itself, then i shouldnt have the right to tell people what to do with their creations.

  15. I found the decal online and just had it converted down Illusionary. To make the skins i am using gimp Thank you for this link, it gives me all the official specifications for the wordmark and the decal edit and add So, ive finished with modifying the field ops texture for the interceptor and just wanted to show my progress on that before i move onto my latest skin for the newly released 2015 charger rt, which i take no credits in making the vehicle or the template. Only the skin. as you can see the skin is much more updated to current DHS standards here is the LAPD skin looking sexy on the new charger: I chose division 13 or as the officers in that division call it "Lucky 13" This is LAPD based as you can see the city of LA Logo and the shop number on the top and the division number on the rear trunk as designated to be set by LAPD usage. the door shop number refers to the unique vehicle identification code set by LAPD tech services (the unique shop number allows tech services to better indentify the vehicle type as well as problems with the vehicle and fix it before sending it back out to the division that it has been assigned to)

  18. Hi all, i recently installed the "Law Enforcement Improvements 2.0" pack and now every time i load the game up it seems to crash the game. I'm wondering if i did something wrong in the installation or maybe its just the files. can someone help me fix this issue?

But those ideas are really cool @RDWAIFU thanks for your suggestions and i will certainly try to incorporate both your's and hotstuffs idea into the mod since i think it would be a pretty cool idea. but there is a question i am wondering about. edit: I have released the first alpha of the mod: for now it only contains the ability to change player model when in range of the military base. here is the link for those who wanna download it and hopefully the next version will include the supply drop missions what native commands are related to the AI being able to basically follow you as well as follow you. Is it Task_Set_Ped_Team or is it something completely different I wanna know darn it because its killing me here. I'll be providing another snippet of coding line soon.   20. Hello all, I am a big military guy, Military tech, weapons and forces are just 3 of the many things i love about the military. So to the point, I have been playing gta v for a long time now and i noticed all these mods that allow you to play as a emergency services member, to me thats also cool and all but i wondered, what if there was a mod where we could play as a military guy in gta v and do military duties in the base without having to worry about cops or being shot by the tanks. So, I started to learn how to code in C# and now here i am coding this mod and posting this topic for this WIP mod. Some of the features i plan to have in this mod are: Military personnel getting into vehicles with you and assisting you in daily tasks on base Ability to recruit Fighter Pilots to become a part of your Squadron for a dogfight (if in a jet) Supply runs & Supply Drops using the Titan Ability to command a squad and have them follow you into battle against threats that come into the base. those are some of the features i wanna have for the first release. If anyone has any suggestions or comments feel free to post them in this topic all helpful comments and suggestions are welcome in this topic. Also if anyone has any answers to my questions as far as coding goes those are also welcome. Hope to hear from you all real soon on this possibly new and great mod. also here is some of the code i have done on this mod if anyone wants to take a look at it and give me some helpful constructive critisim
  21. ​Thanks for the info, i'm on my way to creating a great script. my idea was to create a script that allows you to become a military personnel within fort zancudo and be able to do military things. If i can make the script good enough and people like it i may add onto it by finding a way to get the aircraft carrier in script and make an addition like that. but i have one issue that is making me very confused, when i wanna set the player as a specified ped based on a keypress how the heck do i do that? also what hook do i use to link the script to ScriptHookV?
