  1. I agree, I like having more interaction during a traffic stop. I added phrases to pretend but it's not the same. So I make the stop and have the phrase "Show me on a 10-28" than I say "Standby for street" When they acknowledge me I tell them the street, direction/crossroad. Than I say "Standby for vehicle details." and give the dets you know "Black Cavalcade, occupied times one, license plate 38 Oscar, Zulu, Edward 344." and at the end hit the radio button and hit "Dispatch Acknowledge" and than go talk to the driver. I also added a phrase for "Came back with a warrant" to relay to dispatch if it's flagged.
  2. Also having an issue. The plugin doesn't seem to launch at all when LSPDFR starts. I installed it exactly as instructed and didn't mess with anything just to see what happens and it just doesn't seem to load. No load notification, no indication it's running. Here is my RPH log regarding CustomDispatch Edit: Got it to work. Figured I'd post the solution here incase anyone else is stuck. In the readme file it says to rename the CustomBackup.xml to "CustomBackup.xml" so I literally just named it "CustomBackup.xml" when I really should be naming it "CustomBackup" since it's already an xml file by default.
  3. This callout is great. I work with the PD all the time and this is about normal for what they typically do. I am beyond entertained doing these callouts. I can totally see other scenarios using this same format. I work as Loss Prevention and I think a shoplifter call would be cool. Have LP at a store call PD. You roll onto location with description. Wait for them to exit the building than stop and search them. If they have merchandise you can make an arrest. Make contact with the LP to get a positive ID and have them fill out the no-permission paperwork and return the merchandise. Than take him to jail. You can mix it up. Sometimes the shoplifter stops and talks. Sometimes he runs. Sometimes he fist fights or has a knife on rare occasions. Sometimes when you're sitting outside waiting he comes running out, maybe chased but even by himself would be a fun little foot pursuit. If he runs he may ditch merchandise or drugs (a lot of my shoplifters are drug addicts) Or if you want it to be realistic and boring the shoplifter is already detained inside the store and you just need to talk to the LP and take the suspect back to booking. If you want I can give you some other or more detailed experiences I've had to add more variation and I could even go through how stops usually go for this thing since I've done a lot of them. I think you could even have literal repeat offenders since a lot of shoplifters are habitual and do it for drug money or because they like the thrill. You can do a variety of people with different personalities even. Herion addicts, teenagers, ORC crews, bored housewives. Some are docile, some run and fight and others just get verbally combative. You could have them take place in one of those clothing stores with interiors. There are also a couple of gas stations/shops and big outlet stores/outdoor malls so have them take place in. I'd say that Shoplifting is a significant enough part of a police officers job to consider it. They handle that callout a lot, especially in cities or retail-dense areas. Some cities have dedicated divisions for retail crime.
  4. How do I use this as police? I tried to just replace the police files with this one but than when I try to spawn it nothing happens and all my world textures start disappearing.
This should be in LSPDFR to begin with. All the NPC's run as fast as you do and since they always get a head start you end up chasing them for miles and miles until the NPC path-finding forces them to fall over or to get rerouted awkwardly into a wall and you can catch up. Using this with a controller is difficult however and I hope to see support for that somehow in the future, though I'm not sure how it'd work. I kind of wish the sprint was faster, more pronounced or last longer. Realistically foot chases should be over relatively quickly, even with this addition they're a tad too long. Definitely what I've been wishing for since LSPDFR came out though. Probably the highest on my wishlist infact.

    Railroad Police

Wanted to have Railroad Police to patrol the rail lines and such. Found an old GTA IV texture by NuttNutt and converted it for use on the Bxbugs123 Impala. I also made a skin for the F-150 Raptor. I think it looks good.
  6. Is there any way to get this model to work in other slots? Specifically FBI2 I try to add it but when I get in game it won't spawn and it ends up making all the world textures disappear and stuff. Error says something about Dev content. I can't get it to work in any spot other than Police2 and Police3
  7. I have the most recent edition of Ragehook and LSPDFR doesn't start for me either. So I'm another one experiencing this issue.
  8. I didn't want to make a new thread for this but does anyone know a way to roll back my GTA V? Steam forced me to update to the newest update and even though Ragehook is updated now too EVERYTHING I use to play is broken, including LSPDFR. I just want to play. Is there a way to go back to the previous version?
  9. Since you guys are talking about NPC's and arrests and such. There is a fully animated arrest in one of the missions. It's the paparazzi-side mission where you have to follow "Poppy" on a high speed police chase. When she crashes they put her in cuffs and walk her back to the car. So the animations may be there in the game already for you to use? I'm not sure what you guys can do or anything but I figure I'd point that out.
