According to Liberty State Police officials, two people were shot to death Monday morning at a home in the Steinway neighborhood of Dukes. Liberty State Police got a call for shots fired at a home at 307 Yorktown Ave. at 9:30 on Monday morning. When officers arrived on scene, they found two gunshot victims. A man has been hospitalized after a car wreck in Alderney. The LCPD got a call for a car wreck at 7:10 PM on Sunday at the intersection of Sacramento Ave. and Bridger St. in the Leftwood neighborhood of Alderney. The man was driving a Toyota Camry through the intersection when a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee flew through a red light and into the intersection in front of him, causing him the T-bone the Jeep. There were three college students in the Jeep who were unharmed in the accident. Police think that speed and alcohol played a role in the car wreck. The LCPD and FDLC blocked off the intersection while they cleared the scene. NBC News Liberty

An LCSD sheriff's deputy says that a woman involved in the drunk driving accident between a 2010 Ford Mustang and a Volvo 242 on Emery St. in Tudor has died in the hospital. The Liberty City Sheriff's Department got a call at around 7:00 Sunday morning about a car crash between a late modeled Ford Mustang and a Volvo. The deputy says that 40-year-old Ronald Marley's Mustang crossed the center line and hit the victim's vehicle head on. The victim, 53-year-old Cheryl Berry, was rushed to a nearby hospital. Marley was drunk at the time of the accident. No details have been released yet on what charges are being brought against him. NBC News Liberty

The LCSD got the call at around 4:00 Sunday afternoon about the crash. LCSD and FDLC quickly responded to the wreck. All four of the people involved were transported to area hospitals. Their conditions are unknown and sheriff's deputies have not released their names yet.
