OK. So is there any way of controlling sirens and air horns without ELS? The "Siren Control Tool" turns off the emergency lights, and I can't find the "Airhorn Mod."

So can I ELS-enable a vehicle without placing ELS placeholders on it?

Hi all, My computer can't handle the graphics requirements of ELS, but I'd still like the siren controls of ELS. Can I install ELS and enable it for the normal range of police vehicles while using the defaut lights on the vehicles? Or do I have to have ELS lights on a vehicle in order to use the ELS siren controls?

Update: I can get the Non-ELS Collection Thread to work in Firefox reader mode, but that's it. I just finally recovered from the hard drive crash this summer, and the Non-ELS thread was the first page I opened in brand new, fully patched copies of IE11, Chrome, and Firefox, and it crashed all of them. This leads to me to believe that this a problem with the webpage itself, since I have a download speed of over 90mb/s and a ping of 3 ms. I really hope that this can be fixed, because for now I'm stuck with Google and GPM for vehicles.

It attempted to load for about 2 minutes, then Chrome gave the "Aw, snap! Something went wrong while displaying this webpage..." message. This is really annoying, because I can't even look at what vehicles are available. If you'd like, I can make a video of trying to open the page in both IE and Chrome.

I'm currently trying to recover from a hard drive crash, so that's why I haven't been playing or posting much in the last two months. But I'm still having this problem, even on Chrome on school computers with no other applications running. What is going on here?

Hi all, I'm having trouble with the "Vanilla Vehicles" and "Non-ELS Vehicles" threads. They don't load, and eventually lock up Internet Explorer. Sometimes I get a "long-running script" message, but most of the time they just freeze. I've tried on 3 PCs on 2 networks and I get the same results. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm trying to get some new cars but I'm having to search using Google instead of just looking in the master thread.

Actually, I would change them to say Port Authority Police Department In a smaller font so that the two lines take up as much vertical space as the larger letters did. Also, could you do the same to the runway fire station? At New York-area airports, the PAPD is responsible for ARFF duties, and has their own "fire stations" like the pic I've attached.

Yes indeed. I'm not done yet, I just posted this to show you that I hadn't forgotten about you. It will all be of the same quality as it is on the top half. The reason for the red spots is that I'm in the process of removing the fuzziness caused when the image was resized. The final version will be much clearer and the nautical flags will be replaced by a bridge to represent the last of the PAPD's jurisdiction.

Well, if I could paste into the reply box, you'd be in business. Simply put, google "TBOGT Vehicles to IV", the right one is on gtainside.com, rename your car's .wft and .wtd to "police4", and then use SparkIV or OpenIV to insert your police4 files into vehicles.img.
